Her life story is such a beautiful one. Many of her songs were written while she was very sick. Very similar to Charles Spurgeon writing "The Treasury of David" while he was bed ridden. I did a version of this song myself once, and thought to share the arrangement with Dottie, I wrote her office, they said Suuuure! send it on. Well. I actually never did. but I liked how down to earth they were, and it was just a privy... to connect in anyway with this great ministry.

1978, I was 8 yrs old, in the remote island of Indonesia and I don't even know dottie rambo. I hear this song in Indonesian version just once and coz of that I gave my life to the Lord. I looked for gospel song,,,stumble to this song and it's remind me the same song that i heard 32 yrs ago. Surprised, stunning still not believed what I heard.......... God Bless You Dottie, you changed my life through the song that God put in tour heart even though you don't know me coz we thousand miles apart.

Dottie Rambo was a great inspiration to me as she seemed to have had similar experiences with Lord as I. I fell deeply in love with Jesus the day I was born again and I knew I was beloved by Him. How I need to remember this daily and Dottie Rambo's songs let me touch this every time I hear them.

Farewell Dottie Rambo! We will meet again in Heaven because you said we would. Dottie was killed in a bus wreck near Mt. Vernon Missouri May 11th 2008 ( Mothers Day )on her way to a performance in Texas. We will miss you Dottie. Elvis loved this song so much that he recorded it and Dottie loved Elvis and she would attend his shows. If that is'nt Love Dottie!!!!!!!!!!
