Im trying this on 11mm static rope and when I take the step up, the biners fall apart and get all crazy, makeing the line really hard to pull tight. pointers?
11 mils is a big rope but my real guess is that the static rope is just to stiff to be practical. Try the same moves with say a 10.5 dynamic and see if you get diffrent results.
Thanks. I saw from the other video how you tied the prusik but what knot are you doing with the main (11mm) rope at the anchor point?

@pasto76 I've read that the prusik should to be on line half the size of your main line. I've had luck with 6 and 7 mil though.
