WHat I want to know is which way you were facing? out over the ocean ? or in towards land ?

There is a big airport in Portland. But that thing was faster than a plane moving in or out of that air port. It looks as if you were facing out over the ocean and the islands . which would put you away from the air port. But i depends on Your location. and which way you were facing. I also Live in Maine . and watch the skies alot.

I have to say it's a bird.

You can see it flap it's wing twice in the video, one is very noticeably towards the end when it flys out of the view finder.

i don't think its a bird because it would have been inside the focus (not blurried) like the bird at 1:11 in the top left corner.
