Make sure you never leave your golden alone with a pool. Sometimes they get in and can't find the ledge. Happened to two golden retrievers of friends of our family. They came home and both were floating dead in the pool.
i just lost my Golden Retriever yesterday after 14 years of giving me love, joy, and companionship. I feel lost without her, but I know her spirit lives on. Thank you for making this video it helps heal my heart

Mine just sits on the steps even on a hot day. Our Labrador gets in the water to cool of the the retriever just sits and looks pitiful.
