  • Eleanor Roosevelt is an amazing woman and American icon.

  • Eleanor you are an awesome lady. When people, sadly men, state that you are and ugly lady; I am reminded of your quote: "No one can make you feel inferior, without your consent." It is obvious when I see videos of you like this, your looks never allowed you to hide in the closet. You have become the most respected, influential, and the most admired woman in the world. This my friend, makes you very attractive on the inside and out. You did a wonderful job on earth. May you RIP.

  • @Milton754 amen to that.....Eleanor Roosevelt was one of the greatest women there ever lived..i've always admired her

  • can someone please tell the name of the lady that disapeared in a flight at night

  • @PolishMineCraft I believe you're thinking of Amelia Earhart. I've no idea what time her plane disappeared though.

  • Squeaky woice! Bad english! Ugly kike slut! A real american hero was Mildred Elisabeth GILLARS (RIP darling!) aka "Axis Sally"!

My personal hero was brave, beautiful, intelligent, sophisticated, well educated, spoke an super perfect english, was kindly and big-hearted. Would have liked to marry her, if i ever had the chance to meet her. Would have given even my life for her! This woman should have been President of the United States! GILLARS for president !!!

  • @SpaceCowboy641 I think men like you, should find better women to admire. Why any man would think that war criminal Nazi sally should be admired, is beyond my comprehension.

  • I am a Libertarian that's disagrees with many policies of the Roosevelts, but I can't help but admire Eleanor, regardless of politics she was a GREAT first lady.

  • I was named after Her!

  • I know that this video will help me with my report on her

thank you and bless you heart for making this video

  • Love her!

  • ... But that your face is, vizard-like, unchanging, made impudent with use of evil deeds, I would assay, proud queen, to make thee blush. To tell you whence you came, of whom derived, were shame enough to shame you, were you not shameless. It needs not, nor it boots you not, proud queen, unless the adage must be verified, that beggars mounted run their horse to death. It is beauty that doth oft make women proud; but, God he knows, your share thereof is small:

  • ... It is virtue that doth make them most admired; the contrary doth make thee wondered at: It is government that makes them seem divine; the want thereof makes you abominable: You are as opposite to every good as the antipodes are unto us, or as the south to the septentrion. O tiger's heart wrapt in a woman's hide!

  • What an amazing woman. She had so much class and compasion. She is a true inspiration to all who hear her story.

  • The rest of the punchline was supposed to be (but was cut off) "To Hell with Roosevelt, and I just couldn't shoot a fellow Republican."

  • The best first Lady in American history is :

    ELEANOR ROOSEVELT

    Rest in peace Madame.

  • @SunCelticSea I agree. A true regal queen.

  • what was the punchline at 2:30- it sounded garbled?

  • "But they all shouted, 'to hell with Roosevelt!'".

  • haha- great- thanks for that!!

  • FDR hurt her so badly with his affairs. she loved him so. manchelle obummer could never aspire to this great and wonderful lady RIP

  • A most amazing lady...much respect, from an aussie lady.
