@PhiRune I feel in love when I my friend got it for christmass on his super nintendo, I was about 4 i think, ever since then the series became part of my childhood and when growing up. I was near in tears when no Metroid game came out for the N64, then I remember getting a magazine with an early preview of Metroid Prime and Fusion and I read that same issue for MONTHS! Until i went over to the same friends house and saw him playing Metroid Prime and i was just shocked. No game has ever done that

Yup, I wasn't a fan of the gal until Smash Bros, because I sucked so hard at the original game (still do) and #3 (#4 was much better for me; I don't know why - maybe I need to give Super Metroid another go). I've also really liked Metroid more than MegaMan, because though they have a bit of the same feel, the exploration and non-crappy controls totally win out.
