Of course - if it detects it first. Since the A-10 can launch things like mavericks, if it "pops up" targets the CIWS on a ship, launches and ducks under the radar-horizon then the ship (unless it takes those mavericks out) is pretty toast. Of course if it stays up too long it might get a RAM (RIM-116) in its nose, and that might not go down too well with it.

That isn't true, BAE now owns the company that made M2 Bradley and yet all future upgrades will be based off the original American team utilizing American technology. What the branches of BAE has access to do not necessarily share with the rest.

@ovis28: Probably not, the RPG is a Anti Tank Weapon, even Battle Tanks like Abrams, Challenger & Leopard can be destroyed by RPGs, you just need to hit perfectly.
