DON'T GET THIS PHONE!!!! I've had two of these and they both sucked. The first was very good the first couple of days but then you get a T-Mobile Firmware Update which kills your phone. The update made everything slower. Then about a week later I dropped it from about two feet (sitting down) and the digitizer cracked. So I got a new one and now this one has the same problem. MY ADVICE IS; DON'T DO THE UPDATE....(PROBLEM IS) THE PHONE WILL ANNOY YOU BECAUSE OF ALL THE UPDATE POP-UPS....I persona

My battery life sucks so badly. What is the best app to fix this?

@tjsingh88 The best way to fix this is to close out of apps when you're not using them. I can get over 5 hours of battery on medium brightness and using it nonstop. If I'm only using it for texting throughout the day it lasts the entire day and night w/o dying. I recommend the widget "application monitor" be on a home screen. Then you can easily exit out of apps when you aren't using them.

@SteveBBeast Haha, yes. I've purposely scraped my keys against the glass and stabbed it with pen tips. It doesn't effect it at all. In fact, you have a higher chance of damaging the internal components before cracking the screen. It's a great way to impress your friends as well lol.

Got this same phone when it first came out, to be quit honest its one of the best phones i've ever own! its very fast, lightweight, and accessing out of your app and everything else is pretty fast. camera is pretty good and it has a fast processor! will recommend this phone to alot of ppl!!

@papozthaking Let me know if this work, turn the phone off, take the battery out, put the battery back on, and turn the phone on again, and see if it stops doing that. If it doesn't stop doing that, then you have a defective unit, so it should be replaced.

This version of the S2 is ugly, it's almost like an oval. I hate how U.S carriers have to make their phones look different.This isn't even like the international galaxy s2, the only thing that makes it look like it is the fact that it uses the samsung touchwiz launcher, and has galaxy s2 wallpapers. @pro7ism The difference b/w the international phone and the T-Mobile version is the screen size, processor speed, and button layout. The international version has only one button, the home/return button. It also has a 4.2 inch screen instead of 4.52. Lasty it has a 1.2 ghz processor which T-Mobile does not support, their version has a 1.5 ghz processor.

T mobile won't give you a discount unless you get the higher priced plans..I tried buying two of these with the family special they advertise on TV which is 2 lines unlimited everything $49.99 per line. You only get the discount if you get the CLASSIC UNLIMITED family plan for $139.99 for 2 lines, so I would be paying an additional $40 a month just for a $500 discount on both phones, $40 x 2yr contract = 960.00 so basically you wind up paying them back for the discount and some! RIP OFF! lol

The speeds between the two processors is miliseconds and not noticeable with the naked eye.Either way, the devices out now are more advanced and will be sufficient enough for the average person that uses email., web, and texting. Google (Galaxy S II for T-Mobile faster than its Exynos-packing sibling). For operations that don't use GPU, that 1.5ghz will actually make every day usage faster, too, not to mention considerably faster download speeds on T-Mobile's network.
