Eve is shit, this doesn't impress me either. All they have to do, is make freespace (not lancer) have better graphics and online missions. It would destroy all competition.

On a side note, check out Infinity the quest for earth. Space mmo. looks fantastic.

I have to laugh at the comments over how this game is going to kill EVE.. I highly doubt it. This game looks awesome in its own right and I fully intend to spend some time playing it, but it's a different type of game. I fail to see the need to desperately want an EVE killer, unless you failed so hard at it due to lack of skill or (as is so typical of gamers these days) you're so ADHD you need to reach endgame within a month. If you don't like EVE then don't play it - problem solved.

Awesome game, it will provide great game play to those who enjoy Jumpgate, and manual piloting. Basically a dumbed down version of Eve which focuses on combat verses conquest and logistics. Basically COD in space, no sand box play, no single server, just fly and gun. Sounds refreshing. I think I will play this while I sit on my next gate camp, or mine some rocks :) It will be a source of amuzement while I make my isk.

@stjester Perhaps, however, from what i can see, EVE will still have a larger variety of both ships and things to do, plus in eve you can create your own territory ect. The one thing black rise may have on eve is some graphical stuff and walking in stations, but with incarna coming out this june it will no longer have that advantage.
