I got the wii disc for about 15 or so dollars since it was used. I find this game great but if you don't have rhythm DO NOT buy this game. It will not be much fun. I love it though (and got employee discount) I thikn it's worth a buy if you like electronic music and block games.

This game has hooked to my brain and won't let go...I love a killer dance party vibe and this game really sucks you in...it takes you to this "high" zone that is super fun...i have 137 Wii games and I can honestly say this one stands out as spectacularly fun if you like to club, dance, etc.

Love it, play it all the time. If you're into dance party type grooves, go get it!!!

Empty Clip Studios themselves gave me this WiiWare game FOR FREE!!! :3 The reason why is, last month, they were doing a Groovin' Blocks giveaway to 100 people (I was one of the winners,) and so I got it.

I must say, this is pretty fun. Not "Dr. Mario fun" but still a great game otherwise.

ummm they have a disc version (what the review is actually about) and a wiiware version (which is mentioned) he recommends buying the wiiware (how different can they be?), but if you go for the disc it's worth a rent and a possibly a buy. I love this game, and depending on how much they added to the boxed version, I'd consider getting it, just cause.

And here's to hoping more of the higher quality WW and DSiW games get expanded boxed releases.

Oh, and if drop the blocks slightly past the beat, you'll land the multipliers much more consistently. There's a trick to it.

The songs are great. Better than "okay" but I'm not surprised you thought that considering you don't like this kind of music. I on the other hand, think many of the songs are well done (C64 song is great).

There are differences compared to the WiiWare version. The retail version has new songs, for example., and a couple other improvements. Still, this game got overlooked (even by me before I got the WiiWare version!) so I'm happy to see it get some more attention. It's a great game.
