If you're like me you've asked yourself why it feels like you're practicing and not getting anywhere close to what Jojo does. You may be dealing with RSI which is preventing your hands from developing the strength it takes to get better. Check out my channel to see some little known techniques for healing RSI. This lesson is unbelievable! Have been trying for weeks to get this technique combined with the push pull, but seriously switching to trad grip has given me a propper headache, any pointers on how to get those bounces from the pull part of the stroke on the left hand would be greatly apreciacted, i have nailed the moeller with the right match, with both trips and semi's and then doubled to 32nds but my left wont rebound for me on the pull so i'm struggling to pump it when attempting doubles
@DirtyCs I cant believe i've been that stupid i've been catching the bounce with my fingers as i turn my hand up, i've now slowed it right right down and can let them bounce out if i dont turn my hand up too early, so am sure with the help of the metronome i'll be able to speed it up slowly and keep those rolls pumping great vid jojo, seriously dude your up there with moeller, chapin, morello, buddy, and all the other great trad grip legends that have inspired me and helped me learn this tech
@dandarkwing Yes I can use bounce snap for doubles but the tech i was describing is all push pull/up down moeller. and i simply use pinch to control the number of bounces, 1 bounce for doubles, two for trips and 3 for semi's... which ultimately allows you to play faster and potentially achieve 64ths, for example a bar of one handed doubles would be 1downstroke-bounce, +upstroke-bounce, 2down-bounce, +up-b, 3d-b, +up-b, 4d-b, +up-b... the difficulty is getting the bounce from the upstroke...
