You know,it may sound gross those of you that are close-minded but locusts and grasshoppers ARE edible..you rip off the head slowly to pull all the guts out,then rinse the body cavity well with cold water, then drop them in hot oil and fry them for a few minutes--to kill spiny worms,etc--then eat them. They are quite yummy !
eww..how many species are there in that clip? I noted some Schistocerca [the common locust--saw one by the mall today]. These are very common and are in MANY grasshopper videos here!
honestly grass hoppers scare the fuck out of me..
