@djsinnay Well yeah, it's the only way you can attach your laptop and decks together since a stock sound card for a laptop doesn't have enough jacks.

I have a question bro. I'm currently mixing non serato right now. I have the Denon S3500. If I start using Serato with my turn tables, will the effects like flanger,echo,loop etc ON THE DENONS... All work with Serato hooked up?

Nope, effects built into CD players do not work with Serato Scratch Live or any timecode based program for the matter, cause you will be putting the effect on the control signal, not the actual music, which causes issue within the program. If you have a mixer with effects though (e.g. Pioneer DJM-800) then those will work fine as normal.

LiveFeed is a locked file and you can't get rid of it and will always be in your ALL... crate.

You use real turn tables! and u have to buy a serato box. This software is free but u must buy the serato box. Learn to google plz.

From my experience, Traktor makes it more difficult to Beat Match two tracks.

Serato's waveform feature lets you pair up beats seamlessly, as opposed to Traktor, where songs are seperated, and all you have to rely on is the 'Tap Marker.'

Serato may the be the industry standard but cannot touch Traktor 3 sorry guys been on this PC djing software since '95 and a Dee Jay since '78. Seen a lot of stuff, but in terms of total Dee Jaying experience, regarding blending , scratching, and mixing, gotta stick with Traktor 3.

i only got one prob with the V 1.9.0 and that is when i unplug the hardware to go into to offline mode and then plug it back my screen comes back scrambled and nothing works till i exit serato and re execute the program again PC im using!! i used it in 6 shows 4 hour sets so far with no problems and i wish i could set my Samples in offline mode but i happy with it ....what you expect? its a Beta! lol

Well of course it's empty, no samples are included with 1.9, you have to find/make/use your own, just like any other song.

Don't get me wrong: serato is really good! There timecode system is better than virtual Djs (by faaar).

I'm thinking of getting serato. Their SL1 box is better than numark virtual vinyls box too (better quality sound).

Have I understood right:

1.9 can record & buffer 1 minute at a time only? Don't think this is really enough. thats the same like the old mic/session input. I can't really see the difference. ok - now it's first buffered so i can use it instantly - but nothing more.

if it's relly only 1 minute, it not really powerful enough...
