  • @MrXairsoftx96 swag aint a word here in the country

  • I'm surprised that I haven't seen him play this song on farmaid yet. I'm sure that most of these country musicians try to help farmers out.

  • hey now if we stop doing what we do, the spirit of country folk and the hard work generations of people have put in will go to waste. tough times aint gonna last much longer. keep our chins up and boots in the mud and we'll be alright.

  • the swet, the blood, and the 10 gallons of coffe thats drunk everyday. if people do not see the pain that we country folk suffer from, and how we feed them, pretty soon all the hard-working people will be forced to work in the city because the crops aint gonna payin the bills, the famiy is hungry, and like spencer sage said "prices are goin down an fuels goin up". wise up city slickers, u need us

  • Jason and his boys always look like there having the time of their life. Damm that must be fun, being away from the numb hum drum. Still I wont complain.

  • I live this music. My family has owned the vineyard I farm for 94 yrs.

  • i have 500 acres in union city tn and when i turn 21 its going to have to be sold and even with the fact that my granpa knows that he stills get up at 4:00 a.m. sharp ang gets redy to work. he the hardest working man i know . he has to fake knees and yet he stiull dosnt slow down. may god bless all the farms across this country and bring since to the people who think we dont need them and want roads throught them and subdivisions buti with out this livley hood we wouldnt be here today.

  • 54 people have never been on a farm. ( or never been shocked by an electric crossing under it to go out by the cow's)

  • Even though I hate Amarillo, and living the "country life" I know I'm still gonna miss it when I graduate Highschool and go off for college.

  • You will be back rest assured. Don't be a sell out and leave. This is a dieing life.

  • I love the fact that I'm from the country, grew up on a farm, and now that I'm living in a 'city life' all I want is to go back home to the simple, wholesome life I was raised in.

  • <3 AT 3:43

  • love it not teenagers that want fancy sports cars and cell phones but people like us who just want to live on the farms and drive our trucks ;)

  • Them city folks drive 95 down my dirt road pisses me smooth the hell of

  • So, I'm kinda new to posting anything to YT..Used it to find old music for several years etc.. I just DO NOT understand all the BS comments that ppl post that have "no context" what so ever to do with a video..Seriously, I guess I must still be on the learning curve, but seems to me that "some ppl" just post comments EVERYWHERE.. I guess that it's all just about votes/views/comments.. WTH???

  • @AseedofWisdom Even things like "this" can't just be appreciated for what it is... A message for the ppl that it was meant to "touch"..you lil' children, with nothing to do with your life need to back the he^^ off... Find something constructive to do with your lives.. Seriously.

  • As much as I love the country, I couldn't spend my whole life living on a farm. I'm the type of person who likes to move around and see the world. That's a lot of dedication right there. Much respect. Good song too:)

  • Never give up Respect

  • My dad is a 3rd generation farmer and I sure hope my brothers continue the tradition because our farm is what has made us who we are the good and the bad especially since the drought last year !!

  • yea @scienceguy88 i do say that because they probally have never worked a day in there life just like you.... so THANK GOD for farmers and unlike u i am co- owner of a century farm that has been in our family four 5 generations and i love farming its like no other i missed almost a month of school cause of harves so fuck off

  • @johndeerecollector93 I Love you

  • man this summer, i was just chillen around my little town with my buds, and we see a car parked right in the middle of the damn road. the plate number told us these people were from the city about a hundred miles south, so naturally we though "oh good lord..." so we go up and say, "Why you in the middle of the dang road???" and in answer the goofy lookin guy points out into the field and takes a picture. we look and there's a freaking deer. honestly...

  • everyone knows white boys dont work. Mexicans do all of this. This song is unrealistic.

  • @gflo6363 haha you must not be from the south. dont be so ignorant.

  • @gflo6363 on the big farms, but who do you think works on small farms? there are still Americans that do, we haven't all became too lazy to work

  • @gflo6363 i love you. That is one of the funniest comments i have seen all day!

  • @gflo6363 you must be a nigger...

  • @gflo6363 not true i work everyday in the feilds and i know how it is to work.

  • hell yeah my song when I'm in the tractor in the feaild

  • ... anyone else see the mizzou fan on ku campus get tackled by lil ceaser as advertisement???

  • ANF!!! America Needs Farmers

  • say that to my face bitch spankieDICKason

  • All of these comments are ridiculous. There are different types of farms. Maybe not all country singers did grow up on a farm, but I'm sure everyone likes that they all still sing amazing country music. We've all heard the term "holier than thou", let's stop "more country than ya'll" from kicking off.

  • southern by birth farmer by the grace of god

  • Comment removed

  • most country singers dont even write their own songs.

  • damn that check has some boobies

  • I want a man like this not a snobby country boy who takes his parents money i want to find a real Country boy i love this song =)))

  • this song represents every hardworking man (and woman) throughout America who doesn't complain about what they're given and works for everything they have. listening to it gets me through those tough days.

  • This is what reminds me that I love the country and the life I was born and raised in!

  • Love this song! This must be the long version of the video? Don't recall those guys at the start in the CMT version I seen over and over again back when this song came out.

  • This is the best song ever and I know exactly how people who lives on Farms feel with all the work!!!

  • This song reminds me of my grandpa because for a while after he got layd off from the machine shop he worked on a small farm feeding cattle and goats, and tending crops. He did every thing he could to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. He just keeps going and going. Thanks Grandpa.

  • I live in arizona, so when i get bagged on evvvvvery time i wear my boots to school, if they could afford boots i betcha they would buy them! :D

  • 3:39 oh the ackward kiss that was suppose to happen, but didnt

  • My family had a farm in Texas since they came there with the Texas 300. For some reason my daddy left, and didn't take the farm when his own daddy died. Every time I think about, I always wish that I also could have lived there too. It's the one thing that I'll always regret.

  • i'm from the suburbs, & my town is surrounded by cornfields. does that consider me a country girl? (;

  • @xowillowdancer14 no lol..

  • @Travisob91 lol your cool..

  • It's official Country boys are freaking hot!!

  • This song is to true. It's gettin harder and harder for Farmers to keep on farming. The sad thing is round here people don't give a shit about the local farms. Why go to a local farmstand when you can go to Shaw's or Hannford's and get the same thing for less money right? That's what killing the small family run farms. A lady was once asked if there was no more farms where would she get her food?

She replied: Oh I would go to the grocery store.

    No Farms. No Food.

  • @RollOverBeethoven63 thats right!!!!!!! god for bid people grow there own food or hunt thier own meat. If this country went in to a real deprashin , 90% whould die .I'm so happy my mom showed me how to can and rase a garden and my father went deer hunting with me.we are all just spoled!! ps I can't spell.

  • Comment removed

  • @RollOverBeethoven63 your absolutly right! Its extremely hard to get started farming on your own these days unless your family has enough land to help you out or a good landlord willing to give a new guy a shot.

  • @RollOverBeethoven63 So funny that I live in Ga. (where this homeboy JA is from) and I have to "dig" to find food like my Dad use to grow.. Local farmstand?? Gees, hard to find even in nearby towns, n I live in a lil one red light town.. Things are all amuck.. I'd take home grown any day.. Hannford's sounds like you must be a bit up north.. Hell, I'm in South GA and can't find hardly ANY "real" farms/farm stands.. they have all gone commercial...

  • LOVE YA'LL COUNTRY FOLKS LIKE ME OUT THERE GOD BLESS YOU ALL

  • fuckkkk i love me country music dont no what i do without it !! love jason aldean ! <3

  • I wish that I could say that I have done as hard work as the farmers of this country but I can't and that's what I respect them for.

  • Has anyone ever noticed how you can spot cityfolk when they take a ride thru the country? They are usually driving to damn slow and they always look like they lost and confused.

  • @coryallen75 that or there in the ditch and expect me to get my brother to pull um out

  • @coryallen75 Love driven in the country... Them damned state patrol dont like us who do 70-80 in a 55 though hahaaha..

  • @coryallen75 And while country people love to speed about 20k over the speed limit haha Canadian right here

  • @coryallen75 so true

  • @coryallen75 this is very true. although I (having lived in the country and on a farm my whole life) love driving slow with the windows rolled down just taking it all in, observing the crops and rural side and whatnot. gives me a sense of freedom.

  • @shelloz09 you are such a hick. good god

  • @TheHuskymania describe "hick" again to me? are you stereotyping all country folk and deeming them bad people? I'm wondering what crawled up your ass and died.

  • @TheHuskymania whats wrong with being a hick?

  • @rednecktism nothing is wrong with being a hick

  • @rednecktism y you think there is something wrong with being a hick

  • @Redneckmuddigger16 theres nothing wrong i thought u were gettin on to hicks GIT-R-DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @rednecktism hell no bud hicks all the way GIT-R-DONE!!!!!

  • @Redneckmuddigger16 hell yeah man i live in middleburg fl capital of hicks and rednecks GET-R-DONE!!!!!!!!

  • @coryallen75 that just sounds like you are a city boy

  • This My Life To A T

  • Born and raised on a farm.

  • they thought gas was high in 2005, shit .

  • One of my sons fav. songs.. We played it at his funeral a couple years ago (he was 15 y.o) I listen to all his fav songs around this time every year as he would have been 20 on 2/16 ... I miss and cry for him every single day of my life. Nothing can take away the pain of losing a child.. My "dreams ran dry" the day he died.

  • @AseedofWisdom yeah, we didn't do all the traditions stuff with his funeral.. Played songs he loved.. this one and Long Black Train by Josh Turner.. But this memorial was for my "son", and not based on "customs/standards" of funerals of today and I know he loved our final tribute to him.

  • you got to love working on the farm it the best thing ever I love it nothing I want to do but farm

  • no its HENDERSON TEXAS sky!!!!!!

  • @11shitmouth lets calm down there big guy this is youtube

  • @airforce618 hey airforce bitch shut the fuck up i bett you live in the suburbs listening to marron 5 on the way to to work so no fuck you us that actuallly work on the farm dont wanna hear shit from pussies like you and 13 year old bitches whos ball havent even droped

  • @11shitmouth Let's all take our thumbs out of our asses and act like grownups will ya? Like Airforce said, this is the internet. Go fail troll on some chat room, not youtube.

  • I listen to this song everyone morning and afternoon to the bus and home.

Remind me alot of my dad<3

  • Jason Aldean filmed "Dirt Road Anthem" on a paved road. He doesn't know a damn thing about a farm, and neither do artists like Brantley Gilbert who were still in metro Atlanta high school's just five years ago. It's all a bunch of bullshit. I'm from South GA, and I know what it's like. It's hard work, but the money is damn good in owning a farm of just about any type, with the right acreage. Don't let the internet and its posers fool you. I live the life every damn day.

  • @CC051017 Haha you have no clue what you're talking about

  • @DudesFaceOnYoBallz I live in damn Vidalia, GA, where sweet onions are grown. Buddy, I literally have hundreds of acres behind my house that are farmed in onions, lettuce, and cotton. You have no fucking clue what YOU are talking about. I don't see Jason Aldean busting his ass on a combine, or Brantley Gilbert pulling a set of hairs behind a Deere. Get out of here with your stupid shit. I won't even bother commenting back. I've got to actually WORK for my good living--no time for bullshit.

  • @CC051017 jason aldean grew up farming AND playing music. not like he had it easy. and i've worked on both a farm and in a factory, and theyre equally as difficult. stfu bro.

  • @CC051017 Haha dont get mad man. I believe that you work hard and i respect that. I'm just saying you dont need to comment on their lives saying they are fake when all you know about them is their music. Just relax and listen to the music...

  • @KoolaidKILLa18 you gay ass hell u aint no southern boy faggot u live in california where the only thing u grow is fags fuck u

  • Comment removed

  • 51 people are retarted

  • these are real hard working hard people

  • Too bad Jason Aldean isn't a farmer

  • @MrRaccoonSloth why man? why come on here and say that? was it that damn hard to keep that to your self? people like you piss me off so bad and need a good ass whoopin

  • the guy in the beginning of the video that said being off the farm for 2 months killed him and i have to agree. every year i get a week off to go camping with my family and ive never been so happy to get back outside and do what i do best -- work all day long!!!!!!!

  • I'm only 14 and my dad pushed me and my brother to the limit, doing ranch work. We worked cattle, sheep, and horses. I am never SORRY that I worked and still do work that life. My dad taught me and my brother a hard day of work and we both loved it!

  • unfortunately most country singers have no idea what real work is.

  • @millitaryredneck2309 but most of them grew up on farms.

  • @millitaryredneck2309 yea thats true they would look at farming a lot differnce if they have done the work ive done

  • @millitaryredneck2309 not being a dick but honestly how would you know since you've never lived in there shoes and went through the things they dealt with?

  • @millitaryredneck2309 Actually most country singers start on a farm or working before they become famous..... genius

  • @abbyshellabarger taylor swift...nope

  • @abbyshellabarger Lol if you think all country music artists lived on farms you are dead wrong, my friend. Sorry.

Tim McGraw is from Louisiana, Trace Adkins is from Louisiana, Kenny Chesney is from the suburbs of Knoxville TN, Rodney Atkins is also from the suburbs of Knoxville, Charlie Daniels is from North Carolina, Kelly Pickler got famous through American Idol, Keith Urban is from Australia, etc.

Also, Taylor Swift actually DID grow up on a pine tree farm in Pennsylvania.

  • @JackaBoss Pine tree farm... Made me laugh - I guess it depends on how big this "Farm" is, but to my knowledge what I GREW UP ON was a FARM, cattle horses pigs hay fields corn, that would be a farm - Planting pines is hardly considered a "Farm"

  • @DuXxUnlimtd Haha yes true, I am not saying that mean she lived on the stereotypical "Farm" and I'm sure she didn't work hard at all, was just trying to make a point.

  • im a farm boy and i know how hard it is to go out and work in the feilds and deal with all of the costs of fuel etc.

also id rather make be a farmer than sit on my but in a office all day and do nothing. NO FARMERS NO FOOD NO FUTURE rember that when you eat you dinner everynight that you food comes from us AKA all of you city slicker who don't give a crap about what we go though.

  • @canadianromper this is the best comment iv herd so far. unfortunetly i am from the city, but i dont put myself with the majority city folks, im not ignorant of the real hard workin souls out there to keep this world goin, and im always thankfull. some day id love to put that back in my family morals for generations to come. for the most part people in the city take advantage of things. and loose true value and become lazy shits. I respect and hope to be apart of the farm community some day.

  • @B15QG18 thank you. some people are just ass holes and dont give a crap about us when we have to work in the heat and they sit an there ass and dont even care about us.

  • i love country music and i am in 4h in richfield Idaho

  • rednecks unite!

  • @Markyman967 Rednecks unite? Sorry dude, but you don't know your stuff. Rednecks and Farmers are way to different things.

  • Am I really the only city boy who likes country music?

  • Farm back in upstate New York has been in my family for 5 generations until a large corporation bought it from my grandpa when he retired. Saddest day of my life. I live in michigan now and help out all the farmers by me during harvest season. Farming just isn't what it used to be. Long live small scale farming.

  • 51 people dont know hard work

  • i live in rantoul

  • alright rich or poor country or city you can know what a hard days work is.I aint country and I aint city neither but Im from a family that does alright for itself and I still have a job and buy my way through life every step. Cut my grass, shovel my driveway, and work on my truck. Only ones who dont know a hard days work are those who avoid it.

  • Lol @ people arguing about who is more redneck.

  • I'm so glad I was born and raised a country boy

  • listening to all jason aldean songs make me wish i was born and raised on a farm, i cant stand the city life and the people anymore. No one appreciates life more than a hard working farmer. I know i could not do this work cuz i wasnt raised in to it, but damn well i give it 110% for a week just to know what it is like. Thanks to all the country folks out there to still give me hope on life. I love you guys.

  • @MrBrians323 Support it bro, aint easy but its the best in the world

  • @MrBrians323 Its hard work, never easy, work all day for a little bit of money

  • @MrBrians323 People are so disconnected in the city! I'm sick of it! Can't we have neighbor looking out for neighbor?

  • @MrBrians323 couldnt of said it better myself.

  • well I was

  • @MrBrians323 It is a wonderful life to be born and raised in:) 100% thankful to be COUNTRY!! REAL COUNTRY at that:)

  • @MrBrians323 ya i know how hard the farm life is im only 14 but i luarned alot more about life on the farm then i would have ever knowing in the city its nice to hear someone say that and i welcome you to try it out

  • @MrBrians323 I live in the country, but we don't go buy city people and country people we go buy the people who actually put work into what they do!

  • @MrBrians323 ya you say that you dont know what hes not singing about

  • @MrBrians323 i agree city sucks you cant do anything.. anything you do you can get in trouble somehow or another

  • 51 people dont know how hard it is to be a farmer.. and how hard it is being us... but then you got these prissy little rich bitches that have mommy and daddy buy them everything they want... i got 2 words for thwm FUCK OFF

  • @johndeerecollector93 Really? Because they don't like this video, you think they're all prissy? haha

  • @scienceguy88 why would you dislike it then? people that dislike a video shouldnt even be viewing it. there shouldnt even be a dislike button

  • @weave22420 Maybe the dislikers play for the rival Friday night gridiron

  • How can someone dislike this video/song....these are the best people, i grew up with people like this...its so true, the farm gets stuck in your blood, theres no runnin' away from that...

  • this song so true
