I went to the island in the 80's when I was about 10. Climbed from the lighthouse to the castle. Looks like you had a beautiful day on a beautiful boat.

thanks, very nice. I'm also sat here watching the golf ( Tom Watson leading on -5!! .. go Tom go!!!), and i wanted to find out a bit more about this amazing feature out in the distance, Nice to hear somebody was named after it aswell.

I was going to be called Emily until just before I wa born - then my mum was watching the golf and they mentioned the Ailsa Craig rock and she thought it was pretty and changed my name! have never been there so was lovely to watch this! Lovely music too - thank you Ailsa :)
