Unprofessional, I might say so!! My family and I are being boldly harassed and stalked by the dekalb county police and fire department EVERYDAY!! They turn their sirens ON and right OFF in front of my place of residence. and blow their horns. I used to have so much respect for officers putting their lives on the line but ask me now if I do. I have gone to the higher ups but they claim there's nothing they can do without proof. Well there is a QT camera with my proof all on it!!

@lawdeputy09 - I wasn't hiding - I was filling up with gas. I'm not dumb enough to give DKPD any opportunity to "accidently" discharge their weapon in my direction. I don't go looking for cops to film, I just noticed how often I see them (often acting unprofessionally) and started keeping a camera in my car to document. It's sadly amazing how much police misconduct I see on a weekly basis. And sir, you are steroid raging, power tripping, spineless bully who hides behind the blue line!

But like I said hiding from aggressive, gun wielding cops is a decent life extending habit. Anyway, as far as my moving out of Dekalb, I say this. I didn't see anything wrong with how they handled the situation. Some LEOs that overuse their power but for the most part the majority seem to be professional. I understand that people want to make sure the police are ethical, but some of these copwatch videos are rediculous (this one isn't bad). Having been in a job once where I was forced to deal with the bottom feeding 10% of society (no it was not police work) I can honestly say that you never know what they are going to do.

Actually, my "daddy" never walked out on anyone (aren't cops the ones with high rates of divorce & domestic violence?). I used to buy into the law & order / cops are "real men" propaganda. Then I began judging them on their actions. I'm fully capable of handling myself - don't need a badge or the blue line to feel powerful. I do have a problem with corrupt authority. Actually, dropping your pen and leaning down to pick it up without ensuring the other officer had the subject secured could be a problem - but no one is perfect and nobody should be held to that standard. I believe that particular officer is a newer guy. From the other times I have seen him in action he seems to be correctly motivated and talks to citizens like they are people. Refreshing.
