  • HEY what are you doing stealing that midget's bike !!!!

  • i want one so bad

  • CUTE BIKE

  • Hell of a lot better than a gay moped or scooter. Keep riding bro!!

  • should i get one of these or should i get tha heist its going to be my first bike and i like the old school look a lot somebody help me out

  • @iEATNightmares Are you capable of doing fab work? if so, get a Yamaha xs650 and do er up! if not, get a kikker, they are great fun too. I personal enjoy the building process which is the only reason I've opted to do so over getting a kikker.

  • VERY nice bike!

  • bike is fuckn badass!

btw im new to the motorcycle world and i am wondering what kind of bike this is...

it looks so small that it looks like a honda rebel correct me if im wrong...

  • @CeeEmmz is a hardnock.. their a small company that makes kits for about 2000-2500. honestly they look pretty sweet, I wanted one but i think their to much so i bought a vstar 650 for 500 bucks fixed it up and put some parts on it and made a sick looking ride. total cost was 800

  • Can I buy one of these?

  • germans couldn't do it better :-P

  • dude sick i think this cements me buying a hardknock 200cc

  • nice pocket bike queer

  • how much cost those bike... greeting from germany

  • @blackuniform27

    49cc -> $1599 (without options) and up

    110cc -> $1649 (without options) and up

    125cc -> $1699 (without options) and up

    200cc -> $1999 (without options) and up

    As on kikker5150 (dot) com

Note that these come from the USA, so it'll cost quite some to get it imported and registered and all. Though, I'm from Belgium and I'd like to get one myself someday.

  • @JoeyBelgier thx man ;)

  • @blackuniform27 More than welcome.

  • @JoeyBelgier

The Hardknock is now street legal in Europe. We have a 49cc homologated version which is the same as the new v-twin 250cc only with the smaller 49cc engine.

  • @kik5150 Wot? Are heavier engine versions also legal in Europe?

  • @JoeyBelgier

The new Hardknock is also 5.5" longer and has 16" wheels.

  • @JoeyBelgier thats to much for a toy you can not register or get a license plate for (legally. I know there are ways, none are legit) and they are chinese junk that is not EPA or DOT certified. There is a disclaimer stating that the bike is not to be ridden on public roads. I wanted to be a dealer until I found out the rest of the truth. To bad.

  • @SomeRandomFeller That's f'd up :/ I would've liked one of these in a few years, a 250. I love the retro design and the rather low prices on'm, guess I'll have to pay a heap of money for a real vintage bike some day then.

  • foot clutch with added hand clutch for red lights xD. hand shifting is way more easier after u learn it compared to foot shifting.

  • hand clutch vs foot clutch.... witch do you prefer?

  • how did you like the quality of this bike. im thinking of getting one

  • I saw a group of these this weekend. Awesome little machines. I'm all over the Kikker site trying to figure out getting into one of these. As a rider of a big twin I want one real bad.

  • dude you have to tell me what all you put into this....Im seriously drooling over this bike and I dont even know how to ride

  • how tall r u?

  • Very nice. Just one question, how tall are you?

  • exactly, fuck the haters., this bike is one cool scoot.

  • Some folks give these little goers hell, but they are fun to putt around on.

  • thats some tough shit. i like it

  • ive owned 1 for more than a year now and put 1900 miles+ on it. Rides great im 5,9 230lbs. no the buisness is still kikkin they've got the new 2011 hard knock with 250 vtwin. the chassis was redesigned and is now 2 inches longer on fram and wheels are now 16" with a bigger tire. the new frames has the option of fitting the 125,200,250 vtwin or parallel. Search 250 hardknock and ur gona want one bad!

  • @s14duma The frame is 5" longer on the new vtwins. It was rumored at 4" for the longest time, but unless Kikker's email to me was a typo, it's 5" longer. ;)

  • @calebcowan85

THe new HK-II frame is 4" longer but the overall length of the bike is 5.5" longer due to the larger 16" wheels.

  • That bike looks so sexy! :O

  • I've always like the style of the Hardknocks. But after rideing what I have for so long. I just could take myself seriously on one. Be a good beer run scooter though, that looked cool as garage art. Screw it, I'm getting one for beer runs and commuting to work. I bet they get sick milage.

  • not bad for 2 grand

  • mate that is great i totally love it, if we built something like that in australia we would be pulled over straight away and it would be taken off the road there and then! is it legal where you are....what country are you in ?

  • thats fucking nice! what is the model please mate?

  • i think hardknock went out of buisness.. their last site update was from 2009

  • @thejustingolembiesky nah the website is oldschoolhardknock

  • @Scootertuner1000

    No, it's kikker5150

  • @kikker5150 Eitherway, they are cool little bikes

  • also... top speed? im thinkin about getting one

  • sick sled broski

  • wow! this is fucking awesome!! where can find one of this ???

  • Great looking hardknock! Love those bikes!!!

  • How tall are you? I have never seen one in person and im considering getting one. Im 6'1", just wanting to make sure im not too big for it. It looks like it fits the rider comfortably.

  • what speed did you hit??

  • thats fucking awsome

  • why do some people say its hard to register? People register kit bikes all the time- whats the real issue?

  • fuuukin siiick bro. i want one

  • i know this sounds daft but is the frount wheel wider then the back ?

  • im diggin this for real.!! i need something for the summer thts pretty cheap, and so i dont have to drive around. .....something for base. how much does one of these run?!?

  • Fuck the haters. JUST RIDE!

  • Man that bike is bad ass!! and just a ton of fun! hell half the time in riding weather my Sportster sits in the garage and I'm out riding the Cushman Eagle!! Who care's... one way or the other I'm having fun! Nice job on that bike bro..respect!

  • awesome.

  • These lil bikes are fuckin awsome for the money. I ride a big twin Harley, its the shit, I dig it. But for bangin around town and keepin more beer money in my wallet than in my Hog Tank, it does the job. Ill be buying several of these for myself in various styles. Kikkers rock!!

  • What's the top speed for this bobber?

  • @stinkingdog101 70ish depending on weight wind etc.

  • @stinkingdog101 about 70 it says 75 but thats if your like 150 and have mods still awesome gettin one myself!

  • Out of all the motorcycle videos I watch, I love how it's always the people with Harley's that talk shit about other peoples bikes. I have never understood what makes them think that they are so high and mighty. Who the fuck cares, what ever happened just to riding to have a good time or building the bike that you like/want without someone jumping down your throat about it.

  • Was that bike hard to put together and did you need to buy bolts and spacers and things like that for it and do you need to know what you are doing to put it together

  • Harley's are gay anyway. Nowadays they are for rich people and the company has completely sold out. If you buy a Harley, you better have a good set of metric wrenches and be prepared for corporate money gouging by way of warranty. It makes me laugh to see tough guy wannabe's on Harley's trying to look like an outlaw.

  • How many gears? how are the revs on a highway? I bet its is easy to ride with a light bike like that in town, but what about out of the town, like when you have big trucks coming from the opposite direction etc, will it stay stable in the turbulence?

  • really koo bike man! what make is it? Honda?

  • Better a poor regular joe on a kikker than a rich dentist on a harley.

  • thats the coolest shit ive seen for a while. i cant believe these things are so cheap, ive seen them on craigslist for around $1000.

  • Justify it all you want, those are super gay lol. I mean really you can buy an 883 sporty for under 2k if you look around.

  • to the poster: i heard you ask "how fast?" when you looked over at the car, what'd it top out at?

  • can you get these without suicide shift?

  • That bitch looks fun as hell! Love the suicide shift!

  • Thinking about a KTM 550cc Bobber set up like this one...

  • Sweet Bike Dude, I really want to build a bobber

  • plus you can ride these to work on the daily as there not as thirsty and they do look prety awsome you cant deny it

  • i dont think people understand how aprieciated these bikes are especialy to us younger riderz who cant get insured on larger twin motored bikes

  • are you kidding me, size doesnt matter when it comes to prices, some mini bikes are even more expensive than big bikes , it depends on the quality of the bike and offcourse the parts

  • ... now, if only I could get my walker or better yet,

    a wheel-chair to do that...

  • where is the clutch?

  • hey dood how tall are you?

  • where can i get one of these at??

  • cool bike, what kind and of motorcycle tire is that?

  • its fucking cool

  • thats sweet! that would be way coll just to roll around on

  • That thing is legit! Way better than my mini chopper. Lol

  • imagine one of these with something like a KX500 2-stroke in it.....cool little bike, anyway

  • I bet you can turn this beast into a real monster!

  • love it, bro

  • Man those lil S.O.B.'s look cool as sh*t. Gotta get my 1.

  • rad. how long did it take for you to get the whole project done?

  • sounds not good

  • Comment removed

  • si no es caballo puto para que brincas

  • i wish i could find a full size made for the sx650 that would be cool but this little bike looks like a lot of fun but like any kit i think it would take some reworking of some parts to get everything to fit right but if i had the cash i would give it a try when i finished i could always sell it for more than i payed it would be fun to run around town

  • Respect? ha! You get respect by not givinga fuck and doing your own thing. If you don't understand, stay away and buy a new super large bike with a gigantic v-twin motor so you can show everyone how "manly" you are. Not here to impress no one , just have fun and build it your own way.

  • @shifty13 they are actually making a v-twin hardknock soon lol of course its only a 250cc but eh

  • @shifty13 right on man! I am 185lbs 6'4" and ride a custom thumper that I built and only have $1k into it total with mods I did myself. To me thats what a bobber is about.

  • @ElectricTN P.S. thats INCLUDING cost of bike!

  • @shifty13 Fuck the V-Twin... in-line 4cyl is where the power is!

  • I dono what kind of respect you would get from the full sized bikes tho.

  • @Nsphere if i had one i wouldnt care that thing is BADDDDD MAN

  • something that wont rattle apart before you even get it out of the neighborhood or leave you on the side of the road after 10 hours on the motor. all this thing is made for is to like make you think you have a bobber. get a real bike youll enjoy

  • @ziggy41197 Ive had harleys that shake apart. I work on them all the time. Part of being a real biker is knowing how work on your bike. If you take your time and build it with some love it will stay together fine.

  • @Nsphere Fuckem if they dont like it.

  • @Nsphere

If they got a big bike and they are bitching about this kids badass ride, then clearly they have a small penis.

  • does anyone know if these are legal in Minnesota???

  • These bikes are worth the small price...nothing but fun!!! I recomend replacing a few of the stock items like the battery box, faux oil tank, switches and seat. I give the bike 5 out of 5 stars on fun and 3.5 out 5 on quality...get one, you will love it!!!

  • They are 5 speeds.

The only bad thing about these bikes is that the directions for the build are painfully vague!

  • custom dont mean here is a book it means there is no book or "directions"

dive in brother when you hit a road block seek help and you will find it. thats what a true custom is all about.

  • 0:16 was so funny! You tried to dump the clutch but you dont know how! muhahahahahaha!

  • I have 2 questions about this bike:

    1) I hear alot of people asking about the top speed of the bike, but what is the actual CRUISING top speed of the bike? A speed where you can ride comfortably knowing you aren't winding the engine out.

    2) The site says that these are 4 speeds, but this bike has a 5 speed in it....whats up with that?

  • @domtar They are legal in any state if you have the paperwork for insurance, and if you dont the insurance company can probably pull it up, AND you MUST HAVE: Turn signals, license plate,

I would also recommend the speedometer

  • @cszeek That isn't what I had asked at all.

  • why dont they make these bigger so all it takes is a engine swap with some old honda or yamaha 650 750s to make it not a scooter

  • They're not a scooter. They're fast enough for the highway.

  • did you put a thicker tire in the front, or is that how it is manufactured??

  • Nice video.

  • with a toy like that all you need is a "Barbie car" to drive to work lol

  • Hey, about how tall are ya? weight?

  • yep i miss mine

cuz as it turns out if you happen to park it behind your moms truck and she blind as hell and she drives an f250 it will get dominated

  • in illinois if u want to get one of these street legal, it is classified under a moped due to its small size.

  • I hope that everybody that wants to get 1 knows that in most states there not street legal and you cant make them street legal I think theyre cool as shit but you probably cant ride it on most streets.... cool though

  • yes u can, its just classified as a moped

  • Lg front wheel is on the 200cc model. The 110 and 125 have the springer front end and smaller (skinnier) front wheel. I've got one coming in pretty much the same configuration. Got a 10 week wait for the whitewalls though. =(

  • so does the big front wheel come stock on the 5150? or would i have to order it seperately?

  • It comes stock on the 200cc model.

  • where can i buy 1 of these, and how is it?

  • WHERE did you get the large front wheel?

  • what is the top speed on the 200?

  • the top speed is around 70 mph depending on the size of the rider

  • My licence is suspended.Could i drive this legally on the road without a licence like a moped?I live in North Carolina if that helps.

  • No. Anything over 50cc have to have a license.

  • i believe they have a 50cc model. so if you got that model, than yes.

  • How Do you buy one with the think front wheel isntead of that skinny one?

  • hey i have a question. can you buy one of these without the suicide clutch?

  • Comment removed

  • mines being shipped as we speak...cant fucking wait

  • wheres all the H&D guys wheres all the bitching They bitch about anything not H&D what the fuck somebodies having fun... its alrite... cause they think it looks cool

  • ive been wanting one of these bikes for the longest time. doesnt look like im goin to get one any time soon, but one day. Looks like a lot of fun.

  • i want one. they are so simple and just bad ass

  • were did you get it?

  • dude its got the fuckin suicide shifter, that shit is infuckinsane !!!!!!!!

  • Thats not a suicide shifter the suicides shift with the right hand over to the left side and still use a left handed clutch. Thats a jockey shifter which uses a foot clutch and the left hand to shift.

  • i often wondered about that, thx for clearing that up. so do both have an H pattern like a car or is it in line like a bike?

  • I've only ever seen inlines but I wouldn't put it past some company to make an H I've just never seen it.

  • i know the ORIGINAL indians had an 3 speed "H" pattern (really a 4 type pattern) but they were SUPER dangerous to use and they quickly went to a standard foot shift. i dont know of any modern bikes or even after market transmissions you can get with an H pattern shift, but they might still be out there.

  • whats the frame size and the biggest engine it could fit

  • frame size not sure, but ive only seen 200cc engines on em

  • 80 inches long, 25 inches to the seat, and you can get 125cc or 200cc

  • Sounds like a moped without silencer...

  • Comment removed

  • love it. One day I hope to own one when I'm finished college.

  • WHAT IS THE TOP SPEED????????

  • I was one of the first to buy the 110 model.. and I have to say it was pretty fun to make and ride... but the front brake and fork assembly was pretty dodgy... what's worse is the sketchy manufacturer and customer service.. i hope they have improved their service...

  • the fuckin' point is that some of us who work hard all day everyday still don't make enough to build a Harley, but we still would like to get out and away for awhile. On the open road...

  • @BlackWaterMafia About the best and most eloquent post I've seen for the cause. The fiat money empire has such a stranglehold on the citizens that nobody can make a decent living. Who in the hell has $10k to throw around on a motorcycle?. $30k for a car?.....plzzzzzzzzzzz. Enjoy life while you're here and screw what anyone says.

  • why trailblazer? because some people arent stuck up assholes and just enjoy what they have

  • wats the top speed

  • are you giving it full throttle during acceleration?

  • nice bobber

  • what kind of tires and their size are used on these? would these fit a 1972 cb450?

  • Any idea who makes the motor? I assume its metric.

  • lifan

  • nice bar hopper! i like the suicide shift. check out what i did to mine, just search "satan's chopper"

  • lol you missed a gear or something

  • top speed 75 right

  • It's cool... but wouldn't you rather have a motorcycle?

  • i have a "REAL" motorcycle. This is just something that is fun for me and hundreds of other people. Some people cant afford a Full size bike. This works as a nice substitute. And these are so customizable and affordable. The 200cc is basically a REAL motorcycle. Most people are getting 75-80 mph.

PLUS, these things just looks bad ass. There are people with these that ride them like they are stolen.

  • You feel a real connection with the bike too, you assemble it. You dont just go buy it from your local rip off dealer, you get them and assemble them, thats what draws me.

These bikes started out as just a 50cc moped, keep that in mind. Kelly has come a long way from when he first started this business just a few years ago. He cant even keep them in stock. if you have researched them, there is typically a 1 month wait just to get one, sometimes longer.

  • Is it street legal?
