It's true that she lip synced, but it was not due to her family tragedy, but rather because the musical director of the Super Bowl prefers it...the idea is that with a production as large as the SB there are two many things that could go wrong with a live performance including the stadium dynamic and world-wide feeds, so they run a pre-recorded track, which can still be sung along to. Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Faith Hill and many others have used the pre-recorded track over the years.

you are right in the fact that africans had a hand in selling other black people but they would not be members of thier own tribes firstly (which isnt any better but let us highlight that fact) and yes slavery existed for hundreds of thousands of years across the globe before white men came to Africa. But the crutial point is the extremity of the trans atlantic slave trade and on the mass scale in which it happened. The brutality of it had never been seen before.

The blacks who did sell on slaves to the whites did not realise the fate to which these people were going and they were in fact only a minority of blacks involved in this kind of trade so it was not in fact "a lot of African people" who were involved. The amount of men women and children taken from Africa can only be estimated to be between 10-28 million, something unparalleled. And you are right, it was not white American's alone, it was all major european states of the time.

In fact, African slaves could even earn money to buy thier freedom and rise in societal rank, not a priviledge given by European slave masters who treated black people like cattle and as if they were sub-human. It is easy to try and justify the trans atlantic slave trade but it is not so black and white. Not only did it cripple an entire continent but it degredated and stripped people of thier humanity. It has had a trickle down effect for generations affecting every black child born today.

It's true that she lip synced, but it was not due to her family tragedy, but rather because the musical director of the Super Bowl prefers it...the idea is that with a production as large as the SB there are two many things that could go wrong with a live performance including the stadium dynamic and world-wide feeds, so they run a pre-recorded track, which can still be sung along to. Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Faith Hill and many others have used the pre-recorded track over the years.

i am so tired of this comparison being constantly made...u cannot compare jennifer hudson and beyonce...they have two different voices and two different styles of sings...jen is very soulful...while beyonce is doin her "sasha fierce" thing...personally i like JENNIFER HUDSON better...she's real with the music...has one name and one name only...forget the "jenny fierce"...lol..she's straight up JENNIFER HUDSON....the end...

beyonce is the best, and im not here to argue my point because its already been made. its quite obvious, look at her, she's everywhere. and that takes more than beautiful looks, talent has to be somewhere....beyonce is absolutely the best out there, giver her the credit that she's gonna get regardless. only those that are the best and work hard.... can be in the list of being overrated. if their names are'nt mentioned then its for a reason.

How could you compare Jennifer's pre-recorded performance to Beyonce sining live in the freezing cold? Search "Jennifer Hudson BUTCHERS God Bless America" and hear what she really sounds like live, then compare THAT. I would give a million dollars to any person that could find atleast one bad Beyonce performance. She's consistently amazing and the fact that every other female artist can only get their props after being compared to Beyonce just proves how great she really is.

Ok this is the worst comparison vid ever...which is what it comes off as. Beyonce is singing a song in a different octave all together and JHud is screaming her brains out. There's no comparison here if you want to do it right do it note by note or at least compare Beyonce's National Anthem vid with JHud's because this video is less than pointless...

for me good singing is so much more than having a perfectly trained voice if u jus sing with technicasl thats boring to me.. jennifer brings so much more soul and depth to her voice when she sings she delivers in such a way that makes u know her presence and that she is singing from her heart thats how old skool singers use to sing thats why i love jennifer so much she reminds me of a mixture of patti labelle stephanie mills and aretha franklin ..

However, her superbowl performance is by far her best performance.. She allegedly pre-recorded her rendition of the national anthem... And if you compare it to her past performances where she sings the anthem... it seems the allegations might be true...
