i think tank is more talented in music making (composing and improvising) and playing instruments. whereas gary is more to singing and he has more special voice than tank. but tank is pretty good singer too.

Okay, I think Gary is by far the better singer without question, but I much prefer this particular song that Tank sang to Bei Pan. Bei Pan is overrated and definitely NOT a representative piece of work for Gary. Tank has a good vocal and his own style, and is a talented song writer.
