ok for your part, however, for us in the field of art and humanities, we are shocked by this "remake". i know Bob Aves, the husband of Grace Nono, well, let's face the reality that we have our own "taste" which inculcated by our own past aesthetic experience in the cultural field (conjecturing Bourdieu's philosophy). thanks for your comment/insight.

@jartheme: ok, for more reviews regarding this "remake" you can catch on Ambeth's Ocampo's article, way back 1997c. when this arrangement exploded for the 100 years anniversary of popular composer Nick Abelardo. :-)

sa totoo lang, lalo pang na-eksotisas ang Mutya ng Pasig sa bersyong ito...yung arrangement ay inaangkop sa ARABIAN Night or Hindustani rhythm kaya naman PUNA ang tanggap ni Kuh dito.
