  • Where do I can descargarme this song?

  • Wow... The original Japanese version really packs a punch. Loves it.

  • I searched up SHILOL and ended up here. wat

  • 3 poeople thought this was going to be high pitched.

  • @kickthemdk1 why? There is a difference in seiyuu and singers in the female area of anime in Japan. Look at Megumi Hayashibara, her voice acting then her singing. Female character voices in anime in japanese are NO where near as annoying they make them in dubbed

  • @Karatiannadiante /watch?v=irF5fEMixng

    Same song....

  • Somehow, with Luna's voice changed, my perception of her drastically changed. The song is cute, I'd much rather it in English though, gives Luna a more mature vibe. :D

  • so awesome

  • Lol, for some reason because i can't understand these words they touch me more than the english version... o.o

  • i believe this is from a game...or its one of those many animes that they turn into games

  • They really should have included the JAP version on "The Evolution of Longcat's Song"... they used the same background.

  • one of the BEST games ever made. today's games can't compare.

  • it look like it was made by gainax, some characters remind me to shinji, misato, etc

  • I like this way better in Japanese.... maybe it's because even though I saw it in english as an adorable cat singing in a box, I prefer realistic voices over chibi-like ones..?

  • @RheaShidou If it sounded chibi, it wasn't the original english version. watch?v=9P6wrzS8Va4

  • This is one of the very rare cases where I prefer the dub over the original. Jennifer Stigile's voice runs circles around this one.

  • i prefer her voice to the english

  • i cried first time hearing this.......and i still do

especially when you consider what it means

    its so pretty

  • what is the original version of this song called? i want to find the best unaltered translation to this song, as close to the original japanese meanings as possible

  • I love this song so much! *crys* ;A;

  • this made me cry several times, both the beauty of the song, and the sadness of the lyrics... :c

  • Completely different versions. Actually, I quite see it as a different song. And both are awesome.

The voice rhytmn is somewhat different, the lyrics are obviously different, so...

  • It took me awhile to realize that the girl in the lower-right corner wasn't Shinji.

  • @Zanibasa

..... Its Mia/whatever her name is in the japanese version

  • @BatterySphere The names actually don't seem to be different from Japanese to English...

  • @Zanibasa Glad I'm not the only one who got this vibe..

  • I'm still pretty used to the English one.

  • Luna's voice actor, call her Luna's voice if you want, has such a beautiful voice. This song sounds soooooo much better in the original japanese than in english. A thousand pardons if you don't agree with me, but I see it as a beautiful song. Now I wish that I could have played the original LL: SSSC. Instead, I'm stuck with the GBA version, which, while not totally bad, is very much different, and not as good as the original.

  • Geez, I didn't want to, but really listening to it made me cry a little.

I normally don't cry with songs, but this has a lot of emotion and powerful music.

I gotta get this on my iPod! xD

  • wat a nice song it makes me cry

  • google "Wind's Nocturne mp3" there are a LOT of links (I suggest mediafire's.

if you want the Japanese version, try googling "Kaze no nokutaan mp3" and look for similar links! it was easy for me, I hope you find it!

  • On of the very rare songs thats brings a tear to my eye!

    Beautiful ~x

  • the name of the song in japanese is Kaze no nokutaan

    :D i love this song!!!!

  • Which, literally, translates to...

    Wind's Nocturne.

    XD

  • I LOVES THIS SONG YAY

  • This song makes me cry every time =':)

  • Faggot.

  • @CheaterForLife Yea and I care about your opinion why? If you want to insult me come and say it to my face, otherwise I really care what you want to say about me, really go ahead, it doesn't really affect my life.

  • Hmm, I think I called someone else faggot... but if you want to be called so, fine.

  • @CheaterForLife Mo....were you trying to insult me? What of my review makes you want to insult me?

  • @Kuronosa Nope, not you either.

  • @CheaterForLife It's called second account I don't use that one anymore but I don't want to close it, dur.

  • Really, I forgot to whom I insulted, I think he/she said "cry".

  • Okay, let's think about the most inappropriate person to sing this classic song!

My vote goes to Gilbert Gottfried.

  • ShadeNocturne Try to find Lunar Silver Star Story complete for Playstation. It's rare now but the released both that and Lunar 2 Eternal Blue. The Two games are awesome!!

  • This is one of my favorite games. I really like this song. Too bad I only have the short English version of it.

  • I need to find this game series. Did they ever port it to the PlayStation in America?

  • actually yes they did. good luck finding it on ebay for a decent price xD

  • Holy shit. Just checked Ebay. A bit pricey. How the hell did my other comment get a thumbs down?

  • apparently someone didn't like your question xD Good thing I bought this and Eternal Blue when they first came out =D

  • i looooooooooove the music from lunar.

  • luv it..

way much cuter than english version..

    wat anime is this from?

  • this isnt from an anime, its from the japaneese version of lunar silver star story complete

  • It's from a game =) I haven't played this one yet, but Lunar Legend was great (that's the name of the first game). You should definietly play both ^.^

  • Actually, "Lunar Legend" is a remake of the game "Lunar: The Silver Star", which came out on the Sega CD way back in 1992.

The other remakes are for the Sega Saturn and the Playstation 1-- there's also a remake in progress for the PSP.

  • @luvkoanime12 An old video game

  • I remeber when i first heard this song, It was on egg2 and i thought it was gorgious.

  • Do you have the opening in English?

But this is amazing, thank you for uploading!

  • i'm africa american but i was singing this in japanese to my niece(she a baby)she feel asleep in the middle of the song

  • Lol that's cute ^_^

  • WHAT??? This song is from this game??? omg!! When I was 11 I was like IN love with it!!!!! Well the first one...on GBA.

  • Actually, the GBA version is one of many remakes of the game "Lunar: The Silver Star", which came out on the Sega CD way back in 1992.

It was remade for the Sega Saturn first, and then the Playstation 1--renamed "Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete"-- which is the version I own, then named "Lunar Legends" for the GBA.

They're also in the process of remaking it once again for the PSP, naming it "Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star".

This game's pretty old, but still one of my all-time favorites.

  • i love this song i learn't all the japanese words as well as the english

  • So beautiful!

I'm used to the English version too- but I love the original Japanese song just as much! :D

  • This is just such a pretty song n_n...

  • That's for sure, i still remember hearing it for the first time

  • It's interesting to hear the Japanese version having been so familiar with the English one for the past several years. It's not bad though.

  • purupurupururin

    nice song, mark

  • Such a pretty song...

  • Pretty! *hearts*
