I've used Protools, and I didn't like it for MIDI work. I use Cubase 4.1 now and it's my favorite.

Hmm, I'm getting a Mac in a few days, does Cubase work with Mac? I also have have EZdrummer (which I see your using), I'm guessing it's compatible with Cubase as well as it is with Ableton Live? Thanks a ton dude, =D.

This is a nice piece, but the snare drum is too obtrusive, and quite frankly hurts the overall mix. Remix your drums and you'll have a much better souding piece here.

I'm not to crazzy about the drums either. It sounds a lot better when mixed correctly, but hey it was one of my first attempts :)

I personally think the whole mix sounds great! I've listened to this song over and over, and I just love it! I'm in awe of people who can "play" all the instrument parts and sequence them together. My earlier attempts at mixing/playing instruments parts on a Kurzweil, using a silly little standalone sequencer, was a disaster! I'm neither a drummer, bassist, nor a violinist, so I don't even bother. Best I can do is to layer a piano with a string ensemble. I can't wait to hear more from you. ~:o)

It was a great idea on Yamaha's part to move the PB/Mod wheels in line with the keys and you got more real estate for accessories as well! Great song by the way! Cheers!
