In Mat 13:10 the disciples ask Jesus why he speaks to the masses in parables, Jesus replied" It has been given you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not" etc. The disciples didnt learn it in school and it wasn't from their up bringing or hard work that they understood, it was given to them freely by God, the masses didnt get it cause God doesnt want them, so JC spoke in a secret code to those who were given
