Just that its actually easier to do a long controlled drift like that with an auto. The tranny actually has very little to do with the drift itself. Some say its easier to get the tires to break loose with a stick. A benz has more then enough torque to just break them loose.

@skaterkid901 The "wet" bit is the middle of three concentric circular areas and is covered in a special plastic coating which is then soaked in water and makes for a very effective skid area. It's where they demonstrate the anti-skid jiggery-pokery that the cars are fitted with. It's also good fun and if you get it 'wrong' you can get a good 360 on it.

This isn't impressive at all and it's certainly not difficult. I can do that in a 2L Sylvia. He's not going 80km an hour to start with as claimed. He's going round in circles, requiring minimal corrections if he maintains a fairly constant speed. I suggest you watch any of ken blocks drifting videos. N00b.
