I was behind the goal and that goal was just the best moment in football for me, was lucky to meet Steve Moran a couple of years after this and he said it was his favourite ever goal. The skate fans were as repulsive as ever with their coin and banana throwing!

I was in that bit right next to the pompey fans, thanks so much for all the cash you chucked at us, we had a great night out in town that night and pompey paid for several rounds! Still my favourite away game even after all these years and over the 300+ away games I have been to. Why are skate fans so obsessed with agro, even to the extent of smashing up their own town and scaring the hell out of their own citizens because they can't get at our fans, weird.
