  • why wont the just use some good old C4?

  • who finished first it looks like the wrecking ball did with a very experienced operator

  • They get paid to do this, id do that shit for free!

  • AWESOME ALL YOUR VIDEOS ARE GREAT!!!!! Keep it up!!

  • is it bad that im watching this on the week end

  • @arounseville1234 It just means that you needed a good demolition fix.

  • They should of bought a bigger ball

  • who won?

  • i had to watch this video twice to see both of the machines

  • this is my dream job. I would love to work with these machines

  • Om Nom Nom

  • Fucken Rippa video, mate. That's Aussie for "job well done".

  • @filthracer thanks!!!! glad you like it..!! Cheers, mate!!

  • great video my two favorite demolition machines race side by side.

  • This video is cool as fuck.

  • best demo vid on youtube

  • That high reach reminds me of a caterpillar eating a leave

  • I like old buildings mind you, so I am a preservationest. The excavator is far supperior to the wreckingball for many reasons, one is ease of use, more people can use an excavator and the purpose made tools that can do the job more effectively, with a grapple or jaws you can pull down and sepperate the types of materal and the thing opens and shuts faster, wreckingball you have special operator just for that, it can come loose, and stuff flys off so close to house is no no, as well as bad aim

  • @ssdphoto how come explosives aren't used most of the time? swinging the ball over and over at the building 1,000 times seems rather primitive..we don't have a better way by now? Im not saying explosives are sophisticated either but it's funny to think in this day and age this is still the method

  • @csplendrig Explosives is an uncontrolled way of demolition. Same happens with the ball thats why those 2 methods are almost unused. There are tons of security measures to take on demolition. Hidraulic shears or hammer are more secure but it needs a bit of skill and knowledge about construction to use it eficiently

  • I like old school an everything but I BELIVE modern technolegy kicked old schools ass

  • love this video watched it a few time's i think they both win..old school just because its more fun but new school coz we have o move on eventualy...by the way whats the song

  • Sure wish you jackballs would learn to spell.

  • It may seem small but wrecking balls tripple even quadruple there weight when swung or dropped, That wrecking ball probebly weighs about just under a ton but when swung it'll probebly weigh about 2 to 3 tons. Please don't send me bad comments im only saying what i heard.

  • @baddam95 You have the right idea but this wrecking ball weighed 2 1/2 tons. Calculating the force exerted upon impact (mass x acceleration) and you get almost 20,000 pounds of force at the point of impact from a direct hit when dropped free fall.

  • that wrecking thicker size suitable for demolistion

  • get a bigger ball

  • Comment removed

  • i thought wrecking balls were bigger, must just be the movies

  • dam that factory or wherehouse was verry strong omg damm

  • i used to work for a firm that did demo with a ball , it was so much fun , cutting and preping , i went to another firm that used high reach its less fun , i ended up going back to the other company

  • you would think the ball would be faster just swing and gouge out larger chunks but takes longer to wind up and sometimes does not hit where you want it to. but the processor on a excavator is just such a small mouth even if it open and shuts faster still the excavator takes less skill to operate then a crane which takes years and is a shortage of good oporators anyway.

rather see some good ol shaped charges myself its quick and artistic.

  • Another great video Steve! Testa looks to run like a well oiled machine, and your videos are very well done!!

    -Mark

  • @biginchhemi Thanks Mark, appreciate it..

  • The high reach does a better job overall with more control.

  • Nice Vid!!!!! I'm a huge fan of all your videos! keep 'em coming!

  • Excellent video. keep them coming. That 1250 is amazing, never seen that one before.

    Thanks , rodalco2007

  • Damn cool video Steve! That 1250 is a monster.

  • Awesome job!

  • @328DLCR thanks man.........!!

  • nice !! the ball v.s the iron T,rex

  • @daewooparts The Ball versus The Claw!!!!!

  • i like when the claw "feeds" on those white"detroit style" wide pillars @4:30 :P

  • nice vid man !! iff you got a good operator on the wrecking ball its just as fast as a high reach. and they booth need a second for the cleaning up so that makes no differents!! 5/5 stars !!

  • @josderedneck22 Thanks! I appreciate your comment.
