In the #rd Birthday aya (eve) has a power that can control people's minds, then in their hq she can go back in time.

In FF8 Ellone has a power that can send people's consciousness back in time, but not control them. Weird isn't it?

@Khimeran77 Its a great game don't get me wrong i love it but its not a great PE game cus the direction the story went no parasite energy powers (which sucks) and the game is extremely short the length comes from beating the other difficulties and unlocking things through multiple plays the weapon customization and the costumes are a nice touch as well but if your looking for another adventure rpg this may not be for you.

GS had overlaping sales that left me with 11 games and little money, lol. @ZayLong It's a little hard to explain but for a lack of better wording, I believe they do that to try and convey the mood. So it's like, situational. They don't have to, but some words if they were to use Japanese characters it'd just be the Japanese pronunciation of English words i.e. Bullet = Buretto

This is a disturbing trend in the last few years by square-enix to really stretch the believability of their games in their game's own world.

I.e. The idea of DeepGround in Dirge of Cerberus and Chaos' entire importance is just ridiculous, even for FF7.

Parasite Eve started out with a scientific basis of mitochondrial evolution and now we have a game with time travel and body swapping... It's ridiculous and the fact that they kill off Aya Brea is also ridiculous. Way to fuck up square...

@Erge Yeah I finished it a few days ago and I was so confused on what was going on!! Then I read the translation and yeah the ending is quite a tear jerker. Now I understand why Aya seemed to act so fragile unlike the other Parasite Eve games... @Modukon92 Basically on December 2012, unknown lifeforms known as The Twisted emerged and took over New York. Aya Brea is part of CTI (Counter Twisted Investigation) and because of them she can dive into the past and use her own power to Overdive (possess) anyone. Her actions in the past will affect the present. For unkown reasons she suffers from memory loss but as you progress through the game she begins to slowly regain her memories leading you closer to what happened before her amnesia.
