Aaahhhhh!!! That voice! I can never get tired of hearing him sing this song. I guess it's not "just" the voice. It's how he feels when he sings, it's like he's transfering that feeling to the audience. When he sings he delivers the meaning of the song too. Here he doesn't even realize it, but it shows in his body-language too.

With Simon's comment about dancing, I listened too this again with my eyes closed and David sounded great. I love this. Vocal was great. Judges except Paula were probably distracted by rather awkward dancing movement. Listen to the voice, David was great.

I agree with mk893. He struggled in some parts, but this is a differeent kind of song than he was used to singing.  He needed more time to practice this than was alotted on this show. Many of the songs on his first album were similar to this one and he nailed them.
