This game rocks. I remember playing it as a child, I loved the background musics and everything it was just perfect.

When Spaz freaks the turtle it reminds me of Iron Maiden's song titled "The Trooper" there is a scene much like that about 2:05 in that vid.

The creators of this game seem to have drawn some influence from those old metal / rock bands. For example the background theme of the last level. It reminds me of Motörhead's snaggletooth.

I used to play this on my Windows 98 but it got messed up and started to lag so much so I had to buy a new computer. I guess I will never, ever be able to play this game anymore. :(

Jazz Jackrabbit was Sonic, (the anthro animal with super speed), mixed with Mario, (sprawling multi-world locations with rescuing a princess,) mixed with Contra, (the guns and powerups,) AND Bugs Bunny/Loony Tunes mentality. Compound that with the fact Jazz actually GET the girl at the end, AND gets a kiss? That, my friends, is why Jazz was my FAVORITE game growing up.
