  • there should be one like this with Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and Guillermo Del Toro. just a thought

  • one person is an idiot

  • the red scarlet is coming out soon for 6,000 and its very small, also shoots in 2k, 4k, and 8k

  • REALLY frustrating not having which number i'm on in the title

  • Wow... I am such a fucking nerd. I loved every second of this.

  • digital cinematography are for talentless aspiring filmmakers who cant possibley see themselves creative enough to shoot a low budget picture on film and film is better than digital

  • @rapist41 But actual film is getting harder to find and are quite expensive. Of course all the classic movies are are recorded film. I just think digital cinematography is just a simple way, at least for aspiring, talented flimmakers, to buy it so they can experiment with what films they want to make, rather than having to spend more money on films that they've wasted, you know?

  • @Andybato WELL,THE RED ONE IS THE BEST DIGITAL CAMERA SINCE IT MIMICKS 35 AND I PARTLY AGREE WITH YOU ALTHOUGH DIGITAL FALLS FAR FROM 70MM IMAX FILM

  • @rapist41 Hmm, Imax film is good. I never thought of that =O

  • @rapist41 From what I've seen shot on RED the color's look desaturated and dull. The RED is a toy compared to something like the Alexa or Genesis. However, I'm still a film guy, but none of the modern stocks impress me. I had to get a company in Europe to make me film stock because I feel the stocks now are trying too hard to look digital or clean when honestly I don't feel that's what film should look like.

  • @Andybato That is up to the director's talent and shooting ratio. If you need 100 takes for one scene...the problem isn't with the format.

  • Now I want to see gay porn with those guys...

  • This is great! Two amazing filmmakers interviewing each other. So much good information is in here about their work.

  • fascinating! I wish Danny could have told us the EXACT type/name of the camera he used for Slumdog Millionaire. It sounds way more effective than the bulky RED.

  • @Frye666 Bulky RED? The RED is pretty similar size and bulk to any 35mm camera. Compared to Super16 its bulky, certainly.

  • @Pwells1 thank you very much I already knew that. Have you listened what Boyle said?

  • @Frye666 Well, when you said "way more effective" and "bulky RED" you made it sound like a frickin IMAX camera.

  • Woah my 2 favorite Directors havin' a chat! Didn't know this video existed! LOL

  • I think you can download o th1s movi3 @ MOOV ZON, COM search the above link on google

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

    two genius

  • The fountain and Sunshine, excellent directors right here.

  • two from my favourite directors...

  • Danny Boyle is great!

Im from Orange and Fearne Cotton interviewed Danny Boyle for us on the Red Carpet, if you search for bafta 2009 winner danny boyle interview you'll find it!
