  • Bob Ezrin and Dick Wagner wrote this song in the mid 70's for a guy named Tim Curry.

  • Just happy to know we still have real music these days

  • Mad skills with the guitar

  • this doesn't even come close to Tim Curry's cover of this song.

  • when Joe sings it's from the heart. saw him in FL in Dec, wonderful but yeah has a touch of the kid in him--nice for a change

  • this is the best JB song

  • @soulblacknight

first done by Tim Curry back in the seventies...

  • I absolutely love this guy

  • every time i hear this song i want to cry my eyes out.

  • GOD

  • ahahha i was just thinking the same thing he is that guy out little britain

  • thats fair enough I just thought better words could convey the same feeling, when you compair it with so damn lonely which sounds much better, I think the way you sing it rather than the words you say convey they feeling, Joes version is truly heart felt.

  • una tra le mie song preferite

  • only a moran would say so fuckn lonely to sound cool like tim currys terrible version of the song

  • tim didnt say it to be cool. i think it convoyed what he was feeling when he wrote it .although his original is indeed terrible it is hart felt.joe is right not to sing fuck .its not his song and damn seems more appropriate.

  • yeaaa it should be ,,,so f___ing lonely

  • He is fucking brilliant. Listen to him on Planet Rock radio station. he is also a radio presenter for them. Planetrock(DOT)com if your interested.

  • So damn lonely? I guess he's singing the PG-rated version. I prefer Tim Curry's R-rated version from 1978. It really used to piss my mom off when I blared it from the record player in my bedroom.

  • Sloe has nothing to do with 'slow'. Sloes are a kind of berry that is used to make some kinds of gin, which not only has a different flavour but also colours it.

And Joe Bonamassa is a superb guitarist and consummately good blues singer.

  • great gitarist

  • wonderful song...very good singer...perfect!!!

  • does anyone else think he looks a bit like the guy in a wheelchair from little Britain in this vid?

  • Andy Pipkin, and i wa sjust thinking the same thing! no disrespect.

  • i like Metallica and Iron Maiden-but this is the 1 song that i like thats not metal. They say that everyone - no matter what music you like - will always like another song from another genre.

  • he is the god..
