Gilmour plays like a god on a high preasure with thousands of people watching him doing it live without making any mistakes, then he plays one of the most beautifull guitar solo's ever on the stage. I simply saying this solo in this particular video is executed to perfection AND it because of the additional nasty riffs/runs he's added, this solo goes above and beyond what D.G. is capable of. @jegelskerdigab - OF COURSE this guy is not David Gilmour - the LEGEND who has written and co-written some of the most impactful, influencial music of the past 40+ years. There is no comparison in that sense - we're comparing a legend to a complete stranger who plays guitar. HOWEVER - the technical aspects and fluidity of this solo played in this video are crisper, quicker, and more technically advanced than Gilmour's soloing style in my opinion. (Including the Pulse DVD).

Better solo than David Gilmour would play live - seriously. Particularly your timing and punctuation - very tight.

In specific - when you begin the run at 1:45, that is definitely a bit more progressive and flashy than we'll get out of old D.G.  And that ascending run at 1:57 - 2:00 is quite reminiscent of Slash (Sweet Child solo)
