How the fwk you slow down on slides?

I couldn't seem to get past the tentacles after the slide until I jumped up and down on the shute a few times. That seemed to slow me down. In my case I think it may be a computer speed issue, the game runs a bit slow for me and I think this throws out the timing. (It didn't seem to matter how I timed the jump onto the plate, the second tentacle after the slide would always knock me back.) I left this level until last.

Try jumping to the wall 1 inch before the end of the slope. I got through like that and didn't need Elika's help.

Flyin' down that slide towards the end is IMPOSSIBLE. I always get hit by that black sh*t :)

you might wanna try holding down but what i did i didnt jump on wall after sliding i jumped and pressed E and elika helped me to get past the wall

I can't seem to find a way to slow down either.. and trying to get Elika to help is just as frustrating. Most of the time the game just auto-targets the wall so she never gets a chance to help. The one time she did, she flung me into the tentacles. So... I'm stuck. I keep playing this part over and over and over trying to find the right key to slow my slide... *sigh* how annoying

I like this prince more than the last one. The last one was brooding and wasn't all that funny. This one is light hearted eventhough he has a real reason to be sad(His family was killed in a war and died for someone ele's cause). This contributes to his loner character. I implore you to do more convos with Eleka because you learn so much about him and her(You still don't get his name though).

Well, when you learned that you released the Sands of Time, watched you first girlfriend die, killed your own dad, get chased by the Dahaka (death itself), see your own kingdom burn, watch your second girlfriend die and lastly get infected by the sands (bringing out the Dark Prince side) you would be emo and sad and angry too. :P
