Because the speed of your track depends on the speed of your computer, professionals like LRG use a version of line rider that slows the flash player down to 2 fps, so there is no "lag." To answer your question, he falls of easier when he have speed ;) What I did at 1:10 is a squishy (or something like that). The curve have to be a certain shape. After doing a coupple of these, you learn what to do when he either crashes or rises, etc. :D

And he also have to be in the right position when the squishy starts :)

It takes some basic knowlength of LineRider, and a lot of patient to make it ;)

Press "Y" Right after you press "Load" (When you open the track) :) Then you wait untill it's done loading (he will ride some of it while it loads, when it's done he'll freeze with the track showing up in the background), then you can play it with color :D
