I actually have seen legit pictures from this game. One norwegians game-magazine showed some in this months` edition. All i will tell you, it looked like nothing I have ever seen before, when it comes to graphics. It was so incredibly stunning.

depends on which games. but did you see the assassin's creed 2 comparison between ps3 and xbox 360, there are missing textures and compressed graphic problems in 360 but its works fine in ps3 and pc. even left 4 dead xbox 360 graphics are as good as ps2! but for crysis 2, i'd rather stick to the pc version bcos i hate fps games with controllers only.

8 gigs do come in handy people. If anyone here had any experience with 3D programs and rendering, you'd know better than to say it's unused RAM. And since games do render, in real time, you can figure for yourselves whether the extra gigs come in handy.

hey if it's coming to all consoles than it must be that good, because they would get more money if it was ported to all the other consoles, so face it pc gamers, you lost now.
That didn't make mush sense. I don't really care about ports and the like, but just because a PC game IS getting ported to consoles, doesn't mean PC gamers have "lost".
pc graphics are sooo much better than ps3, as the ps3 version will run the graphics at the limit it can handle, a good pc can handle far more, for instance i have 8gb of memory and 2x 1gb graphics and a quad proccesor. compare that to the ps3, though i understand that most pc's dont run that sort of spec, but generaly pc graphics are superior to console.
8 Gigs? Useless. Quad Core? Not taken advantage of. Although if taken advantage of your specs would be superior to many other PCs, right now, in this day and time it is just unused power. Trust me, I know first hand :P

I can`t deny that 3.9GHz is great. But still, 8 gigs? Where do you actually use them? When I`m gaming with Crysis for example, RAM usage does not go over 3 GB. There`s no possible way that 8 gigs would be fully used.

Of course "some" pcs exist that are stronger than the PS3 because pcs are customizable, you can uprgrade hard drives and memeory and processors and video cards, however the average computer from most companies (other than aliean, voodoo) arnt that powerful, the main difference is a stronger video card.
alot of pc's are more powerful than consoles. Its just that consoles use different graphic processors to make it seem better with use of lots of lighting effects however they use worse texture mapping and so on..
But no only those with powerful processors and video cards will have "better grapgics" than the PS3 version, the game doesnt have better graphics its the video card your running

well i use alot of other apps in the background which takes up alot, but its the graphics card that makes the difference and the cry2 engine, trust me fine the cry 2 vs cry3 video, you will see

Of course "some" pcs exist that are stronger than the PS3 because pcs are customizable, you can uprgrade hard drives and memeory and processors and video cards, however the average computer from most companies (other than aliean, voodoo) arnt that powerful, the main difference is a stronger video card.

alot of pc's are more powerful than consoles. Its just that consoles use different graphic processors to make it seem better with use of lots of lighting effects however they use worse texture mapping and so on..

u have the concept wrong the game itself decides the upped limit of grpahics for eg even if run dave the dangerous on tha latest graphic card the graphics will not improve oon pc games have diffrent settings for graphics high med low very high etc and on consles there is only one setting so 4 the pc the very high setting and in some cases the high setting will be better than the consoles graphics....besides crysis 1 has better graphics than crysis 2 for consoles

Ok im sorry i cant even read what your sayin but anyways guy, pretty sure i know what i'm talking about, there are only a couple things that changes from a console game to a console game or pc game like controls, the video is what gives it "better" graphics, otherwise they would have to create a different patch for every available video card out there

u have it wrong in concept while porting they do update the graphix by adding textures etc so the more textures u have the better the game will look while on consoles there is a limit to the amount of textures u can put whereas in the pc the limit can be streathced if u do not believe me see the cryengine 2 vs cryengine 3 vid and see 4urself that the pc cryengine 2 is better than console cryengine 3

Why dont you accept that a 400 dolor home made computer has much more Raw graphics processing that 2 PS3s put together, + we can create movies, animations, and just about ANYTHING that you could ever want from a machine, we also have thousands of freeware games just waiting to be downloaded: my PC cost 500 pounds to build and I can play all the current games in (que crysis phrase) "Maximum Strength"
