Guess who is making money off these machines--Former Homeland Secretary Michael Chertoff
Chertoff’s group represents Rapiscan, a California based firm “which until recently was the only company qualified to sell full-body scan machines to the TSA.” Last summer, “TSA purchased 150 machines from Rapiscan with $25 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds.”
i take that fucking shit every fucking day and I hate it....especially when they run a single track every fucking night after 9pm so I never make the 930 cta train
Awesome! I love that thing! I fly out of terminal 1 all of the time on United and whenever I've got a long delay or something, I hop on that train and take it over to the international terminal for a drink since it's about the only place that you can do that without having to go through security first.
Brings back memories of Jetlag and been on the flight from London Heathrow making my connection in American Airlines terminal three.... After 8 hours in the air, that is the last place you want to be, stood up and crammed in a tram.
pretty cool. a lot like the airtrain at JFK

a trip to ord is never complete without a ride around the airport on that train! that train is old, yet effective.
