Is it possible to catch the Marowak ghost once it is revealed? I never tried. And could you run into a Cubone in the tower? (I haven't played the game sense I was 7 :P)

@LavenderCorncall no you can't catch it... its the same as throwing it at a pokemon with a trainer... it tells you it repels ur pokeball... or something along those lines

What's so scary about the ghost in Lavender Town is that it's introduced to your as "The Ghost," not anything else. The "the" is what creeps me out...

@firedragonosis There are two kinds of ghosts in the Pokemon Tower. There are disguised Ghastlies and Haunters, and at the end there is a ghost of a Marowak that was killed by Team Rocket. Both become revealed as their true forms after you get the Silph Scope.
