@superscatboy i disagree, i think modelling a car so it looks realistic requires alot of skill and i dont see how it could be wasting tallent becoming better at something, yeah ok a car rolling into a scene could be concieved as a bit boring but alot of these videos are tests, which help to go on to do something more creative. Ive modelled a house and the cars that ive put in it also add a sense of scale and added realism, everyone has to start somewhere
@k0l0mbian0 Because cars have been modelled to death, and it just seems like a waste of talent to continuously redo the same old tired thing.
Considering the freedom of expression available to the 3d modeller, it seems a terrible shame to use that power to make yet another boring picture of an intensely dull everyday object. It definitely takes skill to model cars, but so would repainting the Mona Lisa again and again... skilful but unimaginative.
