  • Ok for the ass that thinks the gtr has a 3.5, ur retarded. It's a 3.8 twin turbo. Read the spec sheet some time. And the speed limiter is only for japan cuz of some agreement the auto makers have with the government. That stupid limiter is not on any u.s. Cars.

  • You sir are correct. My bud has a silver one. Very nice car. Just not too cheap!

  • 700 horsepower! Wasn't what it came with good enough lol. That's amazing!

  • doesn't the GTR have a program from the factory installed into is computer, that limits the engine from creating max power..unless the onboard GPS system notices that you are at a racetrack, then it takes the limiter off?? I saw that on an episode of Top Gear. Wouldn't that limit this car from creating max power, seeing as it isn't at a racetrack?

  • It has a governor on it just like most cars do coming from factory. I think i read in a magazine it governs at 112 mph which i think is just fucking stupid. but you can always put performance chips to override the governor.

  • The governor is only limited on Japanese cars. US spec ones dont have it. Although all come with a 'black box' records almost all the data so the company and dealers can see if the car has been abused and therefore void you're warranty

  • This is kinda stupid... Sti's have a sort of program that does the same thing... soon all cars will have it i am sure...

  • yep by 2012 all cars will have black boxes which will record all the computers data.

So buy your cars before then

  • I figure that.. I have my project car lol. Next car i buy will be a daily driver and I don't care so much about speed or black boxs and such.

  • us cars dont have the gps

  • yeah they do, i sat in a silver one that had gps

  • Vivid Racing is awsome I buy everything for my Subaru from them. Can't wait till I can afford a tune with em.

I also think it's kinda funny when people start putting up stats on stock cars. You do realize you're on the internet... LOOK IT UP.

  • and as for the comparison of the r34 to the r35 some of you are way off .... the r34 has a inline turbo rb26 ... the new gtr 3.5 v6 turbo ... thats why its the r35 ... but since nissan went straight from 3.5 to 3.7 will the next gtr be a r37??? or will they wait till they develop a bigger engine??? only nissan knows

  • twin turbo on the gtr my bad i forgot to be precise ... and i know one of you ignorant assholes are gonna correct me cause you think you know your shit so i figured id correct myself

  • hi cjon3zy.

the r34 number has nothin to do with the engine.

the r34 came with different engines: the rb26dett(gtr) and the rb20det if im not mistaken.

the r35 body was used for some lame infinity(still a pretty decent car but certainly no gtr) and then the gt-r came as a substitute for the skyline GT-R lovers. so ok call it a skyline if u want but its not an r35 and the next model wont be an r37 if it has a 3.7l engine.

the r32/33/34/35 numbers are just the bodytypes.

  • yea i know that i put that the gtrs hav a rb26 ... and the r35 is called the r35 because it has a 3.5 in it just like the g3.5 or the 3.50 z now that they have the g37 and the 370 z im guessing that if they do make a next year model it will be a twin turbo awd 3.7 liter ... but yes the r32 -r34 are the body types but not the gtr35

  • i dont see why you guys argue whether or not if its a skyline ... its based off the car ... do you think if there wasnt a gtr skyline the gtr would have its name????????? stop being ignorant assholes

  • wow...I hear that bull ish all the time...they say the older skylines are better when I can almost promise you they haven't even seen NONE of the older ones in person. R35 wins hands down. Looks, performance etc. the whole 9 yards. Only thing the old GT-Rs have is rarity. look at my account name and you can tell I know what Im talking about lol I seen all from R32~R34 and I was disappointed and unimpressed but I was blown away by the R35...Good work nissan

  • no dyno sheet not 700 hp simple. prove dont just say it.

  • wish my lexus tach responded that quickly

  • how $ much for that one?

  • exactly retard don't try n call me out unless u kno ur shit!! they dropped the skyline name!!!

thanx WildDanHibiki for backin me up

  • Dude who cares, when you look at it you think Skyline. Thats like saying the 350Z isn't a Fairlady just cause they dropped the name. Fairlady Z, Skyline GT-R, get the drift?

  • 350z is still called a fairlady z in japan....

  • Thanks for that little useless information.

  • not a skyline, it's a GT-R, both my 2 favorite cars ever!!!!

  • Yeah it is its a Skyline GT-R (R35) Which mean after (R34) Which was a What??? Skyline! Read your shit before you put down other people.

  • technically incorrect. nissan scrapped the skyline name for this model and left it as just the gt-r

  • the older ones are better

  • so so true

  • OMFG!!!

  • badass looking skyline

  • LOL AUTOMATIC

  • Automated Manual Transmission..... It uses a twin clutch system to alternate through the gears. All the perks of a manual and auto with little or no drawback.....

  • the little beast wanted to shift :P

  • wicked!

  • does the transmission hold 700hp?

  • Guess we gotta wait and see!

  • Not likely.

  • Torque break transmission not power

  • yeeah............for a week

  • WOW MAD NICE!!!!!!
