wow .they were not good at set dec in 1938.Stroheim would have gone to Versailles or at least had clothes and sets refl history.Shearer does a movie. The later french films might be an interesting place for visual rep. Sad sorry.ive always wondered what its like to not know your subjects r losing children and starving while u n he hermitage or suites .
Oh Johnny~! I've loved this MV for so long~! I'm so disappointed that you haven't made anything new. ;-; You're so awesome~!
(I watched the movie 'cause of you and I LOVED IT! Although, Norma in the beginning played too much of a damsel in distress type thing, but the ending was so great. ;-; )
Thank u...I did not know what u were referring to at first in fact someone else had posted something about Tyrone Power...but I just googled it and found out it was the actor I "switched places" with...lol...man, I have only seen that actor in this film.
This is wonderful. Great job! I just returned from my first trip to Paris and spent an afternoon at Versailles. I have loved this movie, and Norma Shearer for years, so it was a real thrill to see the real thing. Are you a Norma fan, Jonathan?
This video looks great , how was it done ? can some one give me step by step tutorial on compositing and on this video.Iam student of film still learning .
she was possibly the most misunderstood woman in all of history :( it makes me sad to think that she has this awful reputation, when she was actually unfashionably philanthropic. this is a swell clip you made :)
Aw thanks, and I agree the power of rumor and lies are often more powerful then the truth especially in her lifetime when the power of word was a way of life!
I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please check out my latest one on some 1930's movie star tobacco cards, including Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford, Bing Crosby, Johnny Davis, Mickey Rooney, Clark Gable, Errol Flynn, Joan Crawford...
Well I cut and edited the scenes with Adobe Premiere then I took it over to After Effects and added all the textures and color overlays and compositing myself in it.
I love Norma Shearer's Marie Antoinette!!!and this video is the BEST!Music is so cool that it made me very sensitive...and choise of scenes is awesome!!!
Aw thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed my music video! it was rather difficult to decide which scenes to include in the video because the film was 2 hours long and I had to fit it all down to 2 minutes. Thanks again for ur wonderful comment!
I love how Norma Shearer Portrayed her in MA! Kirsten Dunst did a good performance as well! I got teary eyed when she was on way to the guillotine very very sad! Good Job On The Video! Im Love With It!!! :D
This is such a sweet video! This was the first film i seen on Marie Antoinette I Effin Love this film and the new one that just came out! AWESOME VIDEO!
It was the other way around for me, I saw the new one then the old one, but both movies have their own charm...the old one made me get teary eyed though!
MA was the 1st film, I've ever seen Norma Shearer and I agree she gave a great performance...I got teary eyed in the scene where Louis is eating his last dinner. Although I wish the new MA could have gone into the aftermath to the trails, I would have loved to see Kristin perform those powerful scenes.
whats the title of this movie anyone know where i can download it?
