A lot of trainers actually watch the diethealth videos so if they are buyers at their gym, they can and also 1100 is relatively inexpensive when compared to the price of treadmills.
Also, men do train on them, especially if they are coming off an injury, ie building strength. It's being tested actually with physical therapists.
Actually this is EXACTLY how the human body moves. Lateral movement is the most common movement in the most popular sports. The side to side motion mimics skiing, tennis, soccer, hockey, football and the list goes on and on! Plus what other aerobic equipment tones your inner and outer thigh groups?
There's another piece of equipment that's kind of like the helix lateral trainer...but it's more of a simulation rollerblading exercise machine. I'm not sure of the name of it, but they have it at most gyms.
What muscle groups does the Helix Lateral Trainer target?
thanks for this cool update! and yes you're the first one to tell me about this :)
The Helix Lateral Trainer works ALL the muscles of the lower body and tones the core. The core must contract to move on a lateral motion unlike front to back machines like treadmills, ellipticals etc.
But the Helix is especially good for butt toning and inner and outer thigh groups!
I love the Bike cause it's actually a hobby you do outside :)
