Do yanks realise that when attacking a fortified postition the ratio was often 2:1? and that the Americans were in trenches shooting downhill at men on open ground? and that lack of ammunition being the reason for retreat is toss because the standard practice was to fix bayonets and charge, not sod off and run away.
