DRH is married with kids, and although he loves being a musician (and an incredible one at that) and does occasionally tour and do solo shows when he's not doing backup for JM, he doesn't want anything more than that. He doesn't want a lot of fame and doesn't want to have his career take anymore time away from his family - which is also why he hasn't come out with an album since 2006. I met him and he's awesome. I'm content just having his music exist.

david ryan harris is by far my favorite artist and then i would say prince is my second favorite. he is influenced by prince in some of his songs such as good thing. the beat was originated in a prince song. prince is more sucessful but david ryan has lyrics that every one can relate to. its as if his life and stories are those of his fans and thats why he is number one!
