Backing To The Future - Chapter 2

wanted to ask a qustion.

I have a Creepshow One -Sheet Folded(Comic Book Style)

I trimmed a 1/2 Inch off of each end so it would fit in a 27 X 40 Frame

(I know.....Im a dumbass for doing that)......well the question is,this One-Sheet

seems like the right choice for Linen-Backing,however will it matter that I trimmed the poster or should I bother doing this at all
