Good job in the performance, though practice makes perfect. I practiced for four months before I performed this piece and it's a fun but challenging piece to learn. Great on the articulation but work with pedaling and the temp changes. You seemed to rush sections you felt comfortable with but when coming to a section that you weren't comfortable with, you had your mistakes but you learn from it. One thing I learned is that you never play it the same way twice. Overall good work and keep practic
geez this is effin amazing! im 13 and my concert is in march and i cant play it half that fast! i mean i can play the beginning part at ur speed but when it comes to the second page....i didnt know it was supposed to be that fastt!!! D: agghhhh lol but this was really good
Thanks for posting. Idk if you're still looking for any critiques since this is over a year old, but don't worry about people like that guy who commented right before I did. This is actually a REALLY hard piece, surprised you learned it at age 8, for I am 18 and am working on it, and it's quite difficult!!
@OrangeSodaKing Thanks! yeah I was taught how to play without moving around, I think that is what they meant when they said I look robotic. Understandable, but i actually think people look kind of ridiculous when they move and sway their body around overdramatically while playing. that's just me...
@98Eric98 It must be said that the audio here is brutally compressed, resulting in soft and loud playing sounding at similar levels. Either this was recorded on a device that has an 'automatic recording level control' or compression was imposed somewhere later in the chain... An obvious example is at 6.23 to 6.30. Here we have a big chord that is obvious played hard followed by some gently played chords, but level wise they are very similar!

I recommend watching Freddy Kempf's version on YouTube, it's a nice professional sound that helps me hear hear this should be played.
