Its from the episode "Meld". Tuvok mind melds with Lon Suder (played by the awesome Brad Dourif), one of their engineers who's been accused of murder. He melds in an attempt to pass some of his mental discipline onto Suder, which works, but Suder's homocidal tendencies get passed onto Tuvok. He's not sure how in control of himself he is, so he created this holographic version of Neelix to annoy him as a test of how much control he has. Nothing could piss him off more.

Neelix is widely regarded to be annoying as hell. The character was initially meant to be a commentator on humanity, but he was extremely poorly-written. Not the actor's fault. Wow this short clip makes me wanna HATE Neelix, and I've never even WATCHED an episode of Voyager that wasn't in Italian.

It's called Meld from midway through season 2. My favorite scene is actually the one where Tuvok is in sickbay and he scares the crap out of Janeway when he's behind a forcefield. It's a good ep. Check it out.

Voyager wasn't bad, there are only a handful of episodes that i found too awful to watch and these also existed in Ds9 and TNG too. I admit though season 7 of Voyager wasnt the best... And it did go rapidly downhill with Enterprise. Enterprise killed it though, not Voyager.

@ Brandon, I think you are one of the only fans of the show to say that about Neelix. In the beginning he was a bit annoying, mainly because he was so one dimensional but after Kes left he really found himself. I actually laughed at this when I first saw it though. lol.

No he isn't (Brandon). I like Neelix and there were a few episodes centered around him that were good (Mortal Coil comes to mind, where Neelix dies and comes back to life, then loses despair of seeing his family in the afterlife.)

But it was lucky that Tuvok got up and killed the Holo Neelix

befor he had the chance to start singing. Neelix can't sing for beans to be honest.
