To Download the beta you need to search "Windows 7 Beta Download" and make sure the link is microsoft and follow the steps, tbh i think getting a transformation pack is better becuase the file size is 2GB and is will take ages

yup, also build 7000 is the newest. You can get it off Microsoft's website right now.

No. The full version is availible in stores. The latest testing version is the RC version. I don't think you can download that one since the full version is out.

All windows 7 beta versions will stop working on 9th of August 2009 does it really worth do Delete all your programs to install a unfinished and only Experimental version of Windows.

No. You should put it on a separate partition or separate hard drive. Keep your old stuff.

I installed windows 7 on a separate hard drive. I still have XP on my main drive.

Windows 7 is not Vista. Its much, much better.

7 is built from Vista, but they've upgraded it a hell of a lot. And Vista doesn't suck, you just don't know how to make it good.

Man i am a businessman so if you go abroad f.e. New York,in Government no one uses Windows Bista but they use Unix and Linux. Guess why...

So if you want to play games as an idiot buy a PS3 not a pc. If you want to do some work buy a Workstation with Unix...... M**********r

Man every update they will bring out doesn't change the situation. Vista will suck for ever. Do you know why my little friend. Because out there are over 2.000.000 viruses only for Vista. We haven't seen any SP2 or something like that. And why every businessman works with other O.S. and not with Vista. Finally Vista recognize only 3.2GB of RAM but other O.S such as Linux recognize unlimited amount of Ram. Maybe the final version of Windows 7 will be able to compete with other O.S .....

Actually Windows 7 is the official name according to Micrisoft.

Right now there's no official support that I know of. This is why it's a beta. BTW official beta will be released in December (so I've heard)

Windows 7 is exactly like Windows Vista only it has reduced bugs and technical glitches that were found in early versions of Windows Vista.

Not necessarily, I don't recommend it to everyone because it is still a beta/leaked version, not fully supported by Microsoft and not a finished product. Although hopefully it will be released sometime soon so we can all sleep better with Windows 7 on our PC's and Vista's partition permanently ERASED. Windows 7 may be an alternative if Vista is giving you too much of a headache. Nevertheless it's a beta version so don't expect too much!

Not really. I ran Windows 7 on this system:

Core 2 Duo E4400 2.0GHz

2GB RAM 800MHz

XFX 8600GT 256MB

160GB sATA 7200RPM HDD

MSI G33M Motherboard

I also heard they ran windows 7 on a Asus EEE PC (with a 1.6GHz atom CPU, 1GB Ram, and a tiny SSD Hard drive.)
