ahhh...back when the hospital actually looked and sounded like a hospital. The sets were much better in the 80's... These days, low ratings=low budget=cheap/unrealistic sets :(

Back then, at this WONDERFUL time, John was Roman, Marlena's long lost returned from the dead husband. My favorite storyline ever is how he returned as an amnesiac.

Unfortunately, five years later, they decided to make him a fake Roman and bring the real one back... sigh.

86 is my absolute favorite year. I just loved Roman(John) and Marlena. :)
