  • WAY TO MANY FISH.

  • all this money this money that. yes, fish cost a lot of money. financial situation? if you cant afford $200 up front & another $25-50 each month after, then you should not buy fish. you should have at least 1 ten gallon fish tank for the sick and another of any sqft for the community, both fully equiped. & heads up, SQFTage depends on the number of fish, their size, and their temperament.

  • You guys are all very wrong those black spots are bugs that live in water its sort of a "disease" u have to hand pick it . If u can't do that for your fish u don't deserve him/her

  • maybe you had too many fish.

  • my gold fish r in warm water and thiey r sill alive!!!!

  • this is a plain fail who goes to a pet store and buy some fishies when u dont even know wut the hell ur doing i did like 7 days research about fish before i got it!

  • @crazywilburclan 7 days of research? lol I did about 1 hour. You need 8 things, good water quality, food, correct temperature, and proper salt content, proper tank mates, proper bacteria cycle, aeration, and for every inch of fish you need a gallon of water.

  • @screwopenbordersno shit sherlock good water quality of course i would have a bad water quality food duh u wanna starve?temperature basic and correct temp? of course i would freeze my fishes and salt nah some fishes do better without salt. tank mates hmm i would by 6 neontetras and maybe a pirahna? proper bacteria cycleu dont need it in a freshwater fish tank. aeration duh u wanna suffocate? inch of fish is a gallon of water ur right!i would keep a 10inch OSCARinA10gallon 1hour seems alot!dumbas

  • @crazywilburclan lol calm down troll.

  • @screwopenborders troll my ass cocksuka

  • @crazywilburclan your ass is a cocksuka? what is that?

  • @screwopenborders it your mom

  • you have too many fish in your tank. Only one fish per gallon of water. And thats small fish. I wouldnt even have that many fish. Buy some bacteria to stablize your tank! Take all the fish out of your tank and swoosh it vigerously like crazy. Then let it settle for 20 minutes. Such off all the fish poop and add the bacteria. clean it every three days until fish are happy. In a 20 gallon tank you should only have 10 guppies in it. Or 3 or 4 angel fish! Or 6 big Goldfish. Too many fish toxins.

  • Well first off you have way too many fish for the size of tank you have, second you shouldn't keep tropical with goldfish.

  • put out the angel fishs

  • THATS WHAT MINE RECENTLY DIED OF! NOW MY OTHER ONE HAS IT. T-T RIP lunchbox the goldfish

  • omg.. you killed your fish...

  • We have same disease... my goldfish have white spots??? and my goldfishes are now weak. i left 4, the 4 died already cuz of this fhucking disease. And don't worry your goldfish is now have fun swimming on heaven's lake :)

  • @hydronoid5000 it's called ich. Get some cupramine and don't overdose it. If it ever happens again, that's what you need to do. Don't just let them die please.

  • Did you read on "cyling" you quarium before adding such a mass of fish in such a small amount of water.

  • Omg WTF why can people not purchase a 4 pound aquatics book before even considering purchasing fish , you have angels which are prone to fin nipping and prefer a temp of around 24 then you have coldwater oranda's which want a completly different diet from brine shrimp, blood worms , daphnia and a high protein flake , the oranda's want a much lower quality food and like much more plant material such as peas, duckweed etc although they do want blood worms every now and then to prevent swimbladder.

  • some people already gave their opinion and this video is old so I just wanna to say I hope you learned something because most people overcrowd their tank due to lack of experience and knowledge.

  • didnt you have another video saying tht all of your fish were ded???? if so then according to this video you know yy they died ???? :@

  • its overcrowded!!

  • maybe the fact of over-crowding? It could be stress-related because you have a lot of fish in a small tank.

  • I had a similar death tank before where after three days the fish would die. Day one: Perfect would eat. Day two: Fin rot and cloudy eyes. Day Three: Death

All my readings were zero, ammonia zero, ph a little low but not harmful. I accimilated the fish correctly. I had no real answer as to why this kept happening. Tried several different meds. Finally I bombed the tank with Moxaciline and it went away.

  • its all ways the way your best looking fish die and when they start to swim side ways you think fuck what do i do

  • Melanchite Green will do the trick to parasites.....

    Next time use RODI water

  • Take 60% of the water out, then add new 60% then w8 1-2 hours shift out 40% water then add 40% water, easy as it is :D

  • i bought one of those fish and the day after he died.RIP johnson(the fish) my brother got the same type of fish and his died too

  • turn the heat up and variaty of food good luck

  • Turning the heat up will usually kill off the bacteria~ Also, you have way to many fish in there...

  • also remember that goldfish have a bigger body so they produce more waste around here they say 30 gals of water per goldfish

  • Ridiculously over stocked!

Did you honestly expect your fish to survive those levels of toxins?

    Ridiculous!!!

  • angelfish and goldfish dont belong together. goldfish is coldwater fish. angels is warmwater(uh lol) fish..

  • Well I have an Angel with my goldfish...adapted just fine to cold water, but I alternate between feeding tropical flakes and goldfish food so that it's balanced for both. It CAN work! HAHA

  • @MegaCharmeleon Angels wont like being in cold water... an angels will need much more than flakes. they need an healthy diet..

  • Sorry...flakes are the easiest way out, plus, everyone does just that, no?plus it won't eat anything else, say for example, cucumber, my goldfish devour it, but my angel doesn't give it a second thought, so maybe angels would be attracted by something more meaty I guess, either way, it's too much trouble for most of us...

P.S. The water isn't even that cold!

  • how warm is your water anyway?

well if you had frozen bloodworms the angels would swallow it all. plus daphnea. But yes. they can survive with flakefood, but wouldnt it be boring, giving only flakefood?

  • If they want luxury, then unfortunately they ended up with the wrong owner, I don't have so much time for fish, however I do try to keep the gravel vac and water changes constant, because that's vital for their health, but not giving them a varied diet won't kill them...as I said I can't bother to do that.

  • Continued* flake food is easier, you said it, they can survive off of that, and why should fish get a varied diet if some people in my country eat the same damn thing everyday and 3 times a day for that matter? and I'm talking about poor people, yes, but I'm just playing that little game most hardcore fish fans like to play on ya', in which they compare every little detail in the life of a fish to a human's life.

  • well allrighty. You do what you do :)

  • Actually, most people who take care of their fish properly give them an assorted diet, with live, frozen AND flake foods. Not all fish eat flakes, and no fish can have just flakes for food.

  • orly? they can actually, until the day they die =)

  • @MegaCharmeleon angels LOVE blood worms! and mine like shrimp pellets.

  • one thing you can do is when you buy new fish you should always treat them in another tank for a couple of days before putting them in the main tank with other fishes...

  • everyone says to buy a new tank..rather saying that try to find another solution..we are not all of us so rich to have 10 tanks..plz understand it...i dont reply here because my fish die..my tank is 2 years old and most of my fish are 2 years old...i am a good fishkeeper...but dont make comments like this because you dont know the economic situation of the keeper...thx

  • Bro I completely understand about the whole money issue...maintaining an aquarium is not cheap....I am just trying to give you some advice so you dont spend money on a fish and it dies in 3 days. You dont have to have a "fish tank" to treat your fish in...it can just be a bucket or a plastic container...

  • @nikoasdaf A fishkeeper should know what fishes need: if I want to buy a fish wich needs at least 40 l per fish and I have not enough money to purchase a 100 lt tank I DON'T buy it.

Fishkeeping is an hobby, you don't need to have fishes at home and you can avoid it if you have not the money, for the sake of the animal.

You just CAN'T have too many fishes in a small tank, expecially if they are GOLDFISH, cause they need a lot of water, there are no other solution, in my country is law forbidden

  • @Ishramit just try to say it to that fishkeeper... not to me... i know what i can afford and i have a 55 litre tank with 5 goldfish... i mean i know what money i have to spent and i know what to do with my fish...

  • @nikoasdaf to have aquatic animals in tank smaller than 40 lt, I'm sorry it's not like this anywhere.

  • @nikoasdaf how about if your in a poor economic situation..don't overstock the tank??? Your not a good fishkeeper if you don't put the animal's well-being ahead of what you want to make you happy. You don't need ten tanks. You need one. I have a 75G that I picked up for VERY cheap off kijiji and I have 3 ryukins. THREE! People are like why don't you have like 12 fish in there? Maybe because I care about the animals more than I care about having a few more fish for enjoyment.

  • @nikoasdaf This reply may be late but if you want to keep goldfish you have to spend more then a hundred dollars... If you don't have the money, no offense, but then you shouldn't keep goldfish. Goldfish need big tanks because they do not have a stomach, and that makes them messy. You really have to have the money if you want to keep pets in the right way.

  • @Miss6Nintendo ok listen... i think i know why they died and i know that if you give them a vegetable that i don't know how it is named in english they are going to be fine... you can give them a treatment and the be alright... a treatment is always cheaper than buying a new tank and seperate and them make another special treatment and i don't know what... i know that goldfish are fish and people buy them cause they can afford bad conditions... just saying that you don't need another tank.

  • where on earth did you even buy your fish? -_-

  • you've probably gotten this information before but i want to insure that you do, A good way to provent overcrowding is by counting the inches of fish ur fish grow per gallon, so every inch per gallon, it is alright to go a little above how many gallons you have but make sure not to over do it. i also recommend getting a ph water testing kit you can get 225 test out of it for $ and can save lives. when the ph is low that means ur ammonia is high and need imediate changing.

  • Make sure to follow directions on antibiotic bottle label... otherwise it will kill your biological filter and then your tank will have to recycle..

And in a fish tank that crowded, you will lose them when the ammonia levels skyrocket.

  • Most definitely overcrowded, fish get stressed very easily. And also if it's a newly established aquarium it may not have the beneficial bacteria to maintain a healthy enviroment. Another thing, goldfish ARE COLD WATER FISH. they thrive in colder temperatures. : ]

    good luck man.

  • it indeed looks too overcrowded =< good luck on the next try

  • thanks for the advice

  • its a clear case of fin rot! this is because of poor water maintainence and overcrowding i know ur fish r dead now, but in the future separate the sick fish the min u detect such red spots. put the sick fish in a bath of rock salt (5 gms/ 10 l of water) & Povidone Iodine (5 ml/ 10 l of water)

  • put some antibiothics in the water
