  • Pozdrowienia dla Polski!!!

  • Tato nauczył polskiego! To miłe.

  • Not bad for an american. Bardzo Dobrze Gluptas!!! (you thought i said something good?)

  • im suprised how other countries are really excited to talk in our languages, even jokes about polish guys pleased me because i know that we are not the 3rd world and WE WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN

  • "dobry wieczor" actually means "good evening", not "good afternoon". I think in the afternoon it's still more appropriate to use "dzien dobry". Other than that, it's all good. :)

  • tylko z ciekawosci, jaka czesc polski jestes?

  • haha cool-fajnie :P

  • @Jennifergustawski

Simple words like kanapka and łóżko, I think I spelled 'bed' right, slip my mind. I really get discouraged because I heard it was so difficult from so many and I want to visit Poland one day and speak Polish. It fascinates me. Thanks for your time.

  • @Jennifergustawski

Hey, I am new to Polish and I like it. It is my challenge and I'm 16 and trying to learn it. Do you have any advice/recommendations on it? How to learn it? Also, I get discouraged a lot when I try to learn even the vocab. that slips my mind all the time.

  • Im English but my Grandmother was from Poland, obviously ended up in england after the 2nd world war, and you have just spoken more Polish than i ever heard her speak in 35 years, even my mother says she cant remember hearing her speak Polish. As far as my gran was concerned as soon as she landed on english soil she became English/Britiish so learned to speak more English, I wish i had heard her speak Polish though.

  • @xneverwalkalonex thats a sweet story :)

  • @xneverwalkalonex are you sure your ancestors are polish? because im not sure if my mother forgot polish langague she would hate herself so maybe you are jewish or russian or a communist

  • @peterscoop she was definitely Polish, we have records from her time in Germany stating where she came from. I think she just really wanted to wipe it from her mind, too painful and all that, she came to England because she was told not to go back to Poland as she wouldnt recognise it so never went back, and i think she assumed not only that the country wouldnt be the same as she remembered it but that there was no one to go back to, she was the only one of her Family that was taken to Germany.

  • Thank you for taking the time to teach us something interesting! Ignore the haters!

  • Do you have nothing better to do with your life? :/

  • @erewrwify yes! do you have nothing better to do in your life then watch a video and make a negative comment...peace and love

  • @erewrwify And what better are you doing with your life?

What do you suggest instead of learning Polish?

    Eating too much fast food?

Or play on the computer 24 hours a day in silly games? If the girl learns a foreign language, it means that she is ambitious and intelligent. And you're jealous!!! Because you're empty as drums

  • bardzo ładnie wymawiasz . :*

  • Hi everyone I am going to poland! I need some help. If anyone can give me step by step instructions on how to get from warsaw airport to the train station. And from the train to podkowa lesna. Which direction and all information. Thank you! My grandma knows im coming but I want to suprise her :)

  • @Jennifergustawski I can help you, I live near Warsaw.

  • @Jennifergustawski Hi Jenny

Take a bus 175 from the airport to the Central train station, it takes about 30 mins by bus, just remember to buy the bus ticket in one of the kiosks that sell newspapers at the airport as bus drivers do not sell them.

When you get to the Central train station, ask at the information there, they do speak english but even without this you will be fine as your polish is good.

Ask me questions if you need some more info

    All the best

  • @hkloss11 Thanks so much!

  • dobrze gada :D

Your Grandma was a wonderful lady

My family were saddened to hear of her deportation

El Salvador's gain was America's loss

  • I love this!

despite my username, I'm not Ukrainian (I need to make a new account...). I'm Polish-American. My grandma used to speak Polish with me when I was little. You brought back some very fond memories ;)

  • try to say ; stół z powyłamywanymi nogami :)))

  • say: suchą szosą sasza szedł xDD

masz bardzo ładny akcent, lepszy niż Dżoana Krupa

  • Wow, you did it very well =) nice accent

  • Good job!

  • Here have some uiseful info about word "kurwa": Kurwa is the most commonly used by young people. In it's original it means "whore" but in fact noone use it this way(very rarely). The common meaning of kurwa is " fuck " in the meaning of anger and vulgar, not as "having sex"(IMPORTANT, KEEP IT IN MIND). Examples: Fuck, I broke my leg! = Kurwa, złamałem nogę! This is most basic use of this word but it's good info to start with. Now go and practise some Kurwa's ;)

  • @piroman85 haha i love it tnx!

  • @piroman85 I would define it differently because the word "kurwa" is like a comma in our language.

  • Nice :)))

  • Polacy oficjalnie przejmują ten film.

  • @mako01551 Kretyni łączmy się, Polacy ubolewajmy nad kretynami ;(

  • @Jennifergustawski Of course, a word like "Kurwa" is widely regarded as vulgar so it should not be used in a public place but in Poland everyone uses this word;p

  • @Kocik69 I don't use it. My friends don't use it. Like don't every English person usu "fuck" everyday.

  • @Jennifergustawski Most people will tell you that the "kurwa" means "whore" but in practice it is rarely used meaning. "Kurwa" is a word that emphasizes the importance of the second word. For example if you hurt on leg, you can tell "KURWA! MOJA NOGA!" in English it will be something like "FUCK! MY LEG!". Here "kurwa" emphasizes how much you hurt, because if you tell "boli mnie" (it hurts me) that means, that the pain is bearable. If you add "Kurwa" that means it REALLY hurts you.

  • Nice accent, Jen! :)

  • Bardzo ładnie mówi.

  • verry good keep it up :)

  • thank you everyone for the positive comments :)

  • niezły akcent :D

  • fajny akcent :D Polski jest zajebisty!

  • Dżem dobry buahah

  • its fun too se how forgin lern polish

  • polish is one of the hardest to learn languages on earth -you doing very well.

  • fajny akcent

  • Język polski jest bardzo trudny nawet dla Polaków, więc jeśli przeczytałaś to i wiesz co to znaczy to duże uznanie.

  • You should train some of the real polish accent bcs the way you speak is hell different than we Poles speak

  • good job ! keep it up ! :)

  • @sythe570 spit three times and knock on wood...fucker!!!!

  • I'm polish :) We have harder accent, if I would say "cześć" (hay) it wouldn't be so soft ;)

  • To English people:

Annoy me, people who evaluate them negatively. Many people in the world knows about the existence of Polish, and even if it is believe that penguins live in Poland! I really like that it used the word, ,,kurwa''and etc. Polish language only knows enough to go to the store and buy something, of course, can not lead the conversation, but if she wants, and know him a little better, then you all nesting!

So please, learn more. Got me plus, a big plus!

  • hey i am polish can you teach me how you say same words from polish i never got teach please help me

  • Hey, you speak really god.

But "good morning" and "good afternoon" mind the same thing in Polish - "dzień dobry".

    ; )

  • Good job :P

  • bardzo ładnie :)

  • On December 24,2006 at 8 o'clock in the morning,a 14 year old boy by name of Scott Jackson was found dead.Doctors couldn't come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened.Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn't repost a chain letter. If you don't repost this to 6 videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight, you will have 143 mins to post this

  • Maybe u will try to focus on spelling correctly words with "C" and "CZ" - when u master it u will be able to pretend real polish woman.

Try to start training with this :

Btw. Please = Proszę , not Prosze like u said.

Thanks = Dziękuję , not Dzienkuje

    Ą, Ć, Ę, Ń, Ó, Ś, Ż, Ź, - saying those letters will train u perfecly in Polish.

Anyway. Sorry for my english :D - i am better in polish.

    :>

  • @Krzysuf

    "cwamiaczek.."

  • good form

    nice job

  • You don't look Polish.... CO ZA ASY!

  • ur sure name is Gustawska

For example you would be Gustawska :)

  • Uv noticed that u say ur n a bit funny

  • If polish has to be pronounced asynchronous, i'll be hard to learn.

  • Perfect pronounce.

  • Keep up the good work!!! I live in NY and when some American born people tell me that his or her grandpa or dad is Polish, I always try to teach them some basic Polish vocabs

  • Your accent sounds soo... russian. It's pity.

  • Wow, you're really good!

  • Video and sound desynchronized - try to make them fit, it'll be less confusing.

  • @Jennifergustawski Your name is gustawski? If so, it means that your dad must be a Pole. Gustawski is a typical Polish name.

The Poles say that you are Romanian, but it's not nice. In Poland, the Romanian associate with something worse, because they stink and steal everything. Poles do not like them. The next time you need to explain that you are not Romanian.

Which city are coming to Poland?

  • @natalkaOtwock haha i guess i didnt explain the romunka comment enough they didn't call me that they said i look like a romunka because the have dark hair and dark skin and im going to podkowa lesna this summer :)

  • @natalkaOtwock Gustawski its not POLISH name moron ! next time go and lern when you try be smart

  • @natalkaOtwock

"Romanian associate with something worse, because they stink and steal everything."

    But Poles not, yeah ?

  • @natalkaOtwock they? PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT

  • not trying to be CREPPY but......your really PRETTY!

  • @Jennifergustawski im asking... are you Italian with a polish husband?.... are you polish at all?

  • @Jennifergustawski gewwdo i think this person meant "guido" :)

  • @Class0neMagic you mean guido? you're a dumbass.

  • @xoxoilyily hey ur right! man you're the one that should be making spelling mistakes, since you're a nigger and all.

  • @Class0neMagic Yup, and I guess you just proved that 'niggers' are the erudite ones who can spell correctly and don't make ignorant statements! thanks buddy :)

  • @xoxoilyily bout time too, you should of had plenty of experience doing all of our work as slaves.....

  • @Class0neMagic Nah, it was actually pretty easy being a slave because all the white, ignorant rednecks were so easy to fool hahaha! You're a joke go back to your incest bred hometown in the south and do your self a favor and stay there. bye bye <3

  • hehe. well done. and I want speka English ! :( :D

  • Sorry to say that, but you shouldn't learn a language if you cannot pronounce it correctly.

  • what is your name is jak na ma imie is not jak masz na imie

  • @mrsheepy1000 yea but if I was in Poland and I said that I'm sure they would get the point don't you think???

  • @mrsheepy1000 well, I'm raised with polish parents and speak fluent polish, and "what is your name" is "jak masz na imie?". jak MA na imie (not na, na is on, like "im sitting on the couch" is in 3. person. "what is his/her name" is jak ma na imie.

  • @mrsheepy1000 Yyyy... 'Jak masz na imię' is good

  • @mrsheepy1000 well im polish and what is your name is actually jak masz na imie or jak sie nazywasz (what are you called)

  • @mrsheepy1000 actually, "what is your name" is exactly "jak masz na imię". jennifer said it right :) phrase "jak na ma imie" as you wrote, is just... completely pointless, it's not even a sentence.
